His guy is tall, mine is closer to Revis in his manners, in your face and has constant contact with receivers without going too far for penalties. He loves working outside and being very in your business.
Mofo also fucked up my knees for life. I still can't go on my knees without pads and for a couple years my knees felt wrong. He had us jumps through hoops, literally, and as I take off his wife, the secretary, opens the door and h turns around to look and unintentionally moves the hoop. I adjust my takeoff last moment and weight mid-air to cler the new position. I do but I land on a weird angle jamming my knee. He tells me to go back to the end of the line to do it again. So now it's my turn again and I switch legs because we are alternating and again, PERFECT FUCKING TIMING, the woman opens the door again and ASSHOLE turns to look and moves the hoop again. Same shit but now I clear it and fuck my other knee up. I could still play rugby and football in high school just fine without my knees giving or anythiing but fuck did I hate being on my knees for any length of time.

Definitely helping your young Quarterback. First four picks can all have an early impact with that team. Defense will have to come later
When I was researching a couple different disciplines that we had in our area, both mentioned the same thing you're discussing but it was framed as a necessary step in order to advance into higher degrees. It's an interesting thing that I never considered from the point of view your posted. We've been going now for almost two months and the classes have been getting more and more interesting, and part of that has been from working with some of the blackbelts in the class.
Teaching martial arts makes you become better at it. Every really good martial arts person is always a teacher
Man, that's a tough break. I did up a knee playing deck hockey at about age 31 and it took me about a year before I could walk normal up and down stairs. I can't imagine being that young and dealing with something chronic in my legs all the time. That was actually one of my concerns with getting into this, so I started learning some Muay Thai stuff on the heavy bag a few months prior to us getting signed up and started. I'm really glad that I took that extra step prior, because just having that added flexibility to begin a new area of training has really paid dividends.
"Necessary" is a crock. Yes the later belts should take longer as you approach Black but when kids that are decent at best start years after you and get to black belt before you get to Blue because them and their parents will be uninterested if they stagnate then there is an issue. Just pay attention to how everything goes with everyone else. I suppressed my jealousy as simply that but when time passes and you see it is just being taken advantage of and not even being taught anything anymore it's BS. This isn't wax off wax off either or learning through teaching.
Yeah, that sounds like some capitalistic politics. I haven't noticed anything like that with where we are now but anytime money is involved shit can get wierd.
