A guy I took around this time in the other mock too, but with the 49ers. I already took a 2nd Round CB for the Eagles there though.
A K-Mart next door to a police station definitely had way too many blue light specials of all kinds, and it's hard to imagine a club succeeding when the police are literally upstairs. This club was more like the northern end of midtown, near the Lindbergh MARTA station. I don't remember the names of all the failed clubs that tried to make a go of it there, but I think two different versions were simply called The Basement. Underground was downtown. The original folded around 1976 but came back in the mid / late 80s. The original one was mostly clubs and entertainment. The new one is mostly a glorified shopping mall.
The Tennessee Titans select Jaylen Twyman, DL, Pitt One of my favorite prospects and he's going under the radar because he opted out this season. He always gets compared to a certain other undersized Pitt alum and while I highly doubt he gets to that level I think he will be a highly disruptive interior pass rusher for years. The Titans defensive front quickly goes from toothless to fearsome with Landry, Simmons, Autry, Twyman, and Dupree all rotating through. Edit: Btw he killed his proday activites and mesurements. 6'1" 301 lbs, 40 bench reps, 32.5" vert, 8'8" broad, 7.98s 3 cone, and a slow 5.4s 40 (not that that matters much for DL).
Round 1 #2 Quarterback Zach Wilson Round 1 #23 Strong Safety Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah Round 2 #2 Offensive Tackle Samuel Cosmi Round 3 #3 Defensive Tackle Levi Onwuzurike Round 3 #22 Running Back Kenneth Gainwell
Yeah he's a terrifying human being (Donald had 35 reps I believe), 10.5 sacks as a true soph DT as well.
I look at the pick in two ways. He either bounces back and returns to that top-10 pick he was in 2019 or the Steelers trend continues with dogshit selections at CB.
Not going to lie, I do enjoy this, the regular recaps... I'll tell you this much, he's adding athletes. Guessing you've got at least four 80+ RAS scores there.
To be honest my complaint with him isn't that he held out. It's that the net result means there just isn't enough tape on him. I'm not quite sure what I'd be getting. And he fits a bit in the Onwuzurike, Nixon discussion in that the tape is full of splash plays and disappearing acts. Not a ton of consistency yet. He'll be another interesting one to track in the NFL because of that.
Oh crap, I'm up. Rams will field offers for 15 minutes for sure while we figure out what the hell we're doing.
That’s ideally the plan. With Hilton off to Cincy and Sutton moving to the outside, there’s a glaring hole for a nickel corner.
