Carman has a sneaky chance, maybe more outside than sneaky, to end up in the back of the first.

His draft stock reminds me of Joshua Garnett, but that's not to be confused with what I expect Carman to be as a pro.

This is a high value pick at this point in the draft, IMO.

 

Tim you know how to tickle someone just right and that's what she said.

 

He was on my short list for the Vikings... good pick.

That was one option for the Rams. But I'm not entirely sure what to make of him. I'm still comfortable with the move back, and he's not my #1 so win-win all around.

You, the Ravens or another trade up are what worried me. It felt like a possible irrelevant trade down later for me (in foresight) so I felt like making sure I got him.

 

Me neither, but I like Rondale Moore a lot...Bob Sanders and Ray Rice were both 5'8", but not receivers obviously. From what I can recall, the only WR shorter than Moore that got drafted was Trindon Holiday, but he was late rounder. I think he was like 5'6, or maybe even shorter.

 

Brian Brennan ? 5' 9" (maybe)

 

Steve Tasker...maybe?

 

Also kind of makes the point why he "shouldn't" be a first rounder. Bob Sanders went 2nd round. Would have been an awesome player, if he wasn't constantly on IR

 

Appreciate the effort, but it further proves my point on Moore.

None of these guys are former first round selections, and all of them are taller than Rondale.

 

If we're goin there, we gotta include Gerald "Ice Cube" McNiel (5'7").....Great KR/WR for Browns in the 80's

...also Dante Hall 5'8"

 

While that's true Tim, one thing has definitely changed to make an argument FOR Moore. Defense isn't allowed to touch anyone anymore. It's opened the game up a bit for smaller guys.

 

After he measured 5'7", I was certain he wasn't going first round.

 

Short but jacked...I think he'll be fun to watch. Expecting nice career from him....Along with AJ Brown, that's an interesting duo the Titans have.

 

But you still have to factor in a GMs built in want to preserve his job.

I’m not saying he can’t go in the first. I am saying that even with a clean bill of health that he would be far from a round 1 lock, IMO.

 

5'7'' even. Darren Sproles is 5'6'' Trindon Holiday is 5'5'' The Bears Tarik Cohen is 5'6' and 3/8s. Also about the same weight as Cohen. 179 to 181.
