I couldn’t believe he was still on the board at this point. One of the most athletic tackles in the draft with fantastic film.

 

And if I hadn't traded up for Eich, this dude was my plan B. Love his tape. Just always scared to project that move from Right to Left T.
His pro day numbers weren't great. Made me turn the tape back on and it was as good as I remembered it. His technique is good, build is prototypical. I love this kid. Thought about going B-2-B with Eich and Mayfield. But it's just too hard to picture running Braden Smith (on a contract year) out of town just yet.

The tape I love to go back and watch is vs OSU in 19. He was left all alone with Chase Young and gave up almost nothing the entire game

I often wonder what some of these guys that appeared to be invisible to DBs in that era would have been able to do in the present, where defensive backs can no longer brutalize them at the line or tear their head off in the open.

It actually makes me respect Clark even more. The guy was a tough little bastard who played between the numbers, taking shots, way more than Art Monk. And the dude never missed a game it seemed, he was always out there. One of the more under rated WRs in league history Tim?

I feel very fortunate here. This was the pick I probably should have made if I didn't want Rousseau because I felt very Eagles GMy early round 2. Took him early 2nd with the 49ers in the GMO too. I think I'm higher on him than most and boy were OTs also getting slim pickings.
