Looking for some more draft picks? The Vikings looking to move into the 2nd round... offering a 3.26, 4.20, 4.29. Hit the Vikes up if interested, thanks.
I didn't even see your trade offer until early this morning, after already posting last night that I would pick. Not sure if I would have risked missing out on Oweh anyway though.
I felt the same way. Oweh is definitely boom-or-bust. On the plus side, I can't do any worse on getting pass rushers than Dimitroff did.
Not too surprising. I do think he's a good coach. Some people think he hasn't done enough in the last 4 or so years. But that franchise has enjoyed it's share of stability over the last couple decades. You can't have it both ways, be a stable organization AND fire guys while you're posting winning seasons and have Superbowls to qualify their resume
Signing Ray Edwards in free agency was the biggest misfire. Publicly saying that improving the CB group would generate pass rush and spending the bucks on CB Dunta Robinson isn't far behind. And then all the failed draft picks. Kroy Biermann (23.5 career sacks) was the best of the bunch.
I had Rousseau typed out, but since the Jaguars already have a raw pass rusher in Chaisson I decided to switch it to Toney
Three HC's in 50 years. I'd say the Steelers are the epitome of stability when it comes to head coaches...Hell, we've had more than that since 2018. smh. ....at least it looks like my team finally got that right. #stefanski
Sorry for the hold up. Probably not the best idea to drive and post the pick The Carolina Panthers select: Asante Samuel Jr., CB, Florida St.
It was between him and Campbell for the Bills pick. Samuel was also a backup selection for the Eagles.
Falcons select Jevon Holland, DB, Oregon Another chess piece for Dean Pees on defense. I picture him in a similar role as what he played at Oregon - a hybrid nickel / safety. Plug him in as the nickel back on day one.
I can't figure out what to make of him. I liked his tape overall. But I've seen compelling arguments overall both for and against him. He'll be an interesting one to track in the NFL
He's definitely one of the more interesting evals in this draft class. There are some strong positives mixed with strong negatives, so you need to decide which is going to affect his chances at a being a solid pro more to set your value. I also think you need to have a situation where he can slow grow into the role because he simply doesn't have anything on video to suggest he has more than caveman tactics coming off the edge. There are times his hands seem to get in the way of what he's doing, but I think that can also be a positive if someone gets him to use his mitts in a controlled manner (see Tamba Hali). I have another Chief as a comp. Anyone know who that might be?
