With the 28th(1.28) pick in the LAOJoe & RTTRUTH's 12th Annual Collaborative Mock Draft The Denver Broncos select RB, Travis Etienne, Clemson
Via text, Green Bay packers take the last name on their shortlist; Rashod Bateman - WR - Minnesota (should be used to the weather anyways)
TWO first round trade ups for RB's in this draft...I like it. Undervalued position?? Gotta have that running game...
I'm taking a bit of a risk moving down again as there are really only two true names left on my list for 1(28). But I figured the opportunity is worth it as my own second rounder is only six picks away.
The funny thing is that if I had stood pat, Etienne was going to be my pick. So the trade was perfect on his end.
Undervalued player, perhaps. Chad Reuter / Lance Zierlein have him as the 10th top rated prospect in the draft. So it you trust their ratings, he's a steal at #28.
Sniped ya. I figured he'd be gone soon to ATL, BUF, JAX, or NYJ. Gordon fumbles too much for me and he's a Free Agent next yr. Travis Etienne is perfect replacement. Denvers Offense gonna have the best young Offensive skill players in the league. Drew Lock got no more excuses.
I wouldn't say sniped, as I knew when I agreed to the trade that he wasn't going to last until my next pick. On my end, I passed up taking Trey Lance at #4. At the moment, instead of Lance I now have 2(8), 3(41), 5(8), 1st in 2022, 3rd in 2022, and 2nd in 2023. I'm not exactly wallowing in self-pity...
Right. I wouldn't call the position as a whole undervalued. But Etienne might be at that part of the draft, depending on whose ratings and rankings you trust.
That's a tough call. The two that have gone in the first were legit first rounders. But I'd call that fair value for the position rather than undervalued.
Sucks to be Atlanta this yr, they need to rebuild that Defense into a 3-4 & it looks to be a weak draft for defense across the board.
