One of the things that never gets mentioned in a list like that is the situation those kids end up drafted into.

There's a reason why they went high in the draft, and it ain't because that team is a yearly winner. lol

 

A wild stat that I remember seeing posted during a game in I think 2006, maybe 2005, is that at that particular week in the middle of that season, quarterbacks who went undrafted had better won-loss records than quarterbacks taken in the first round.

 

Situation for players matters a hell of a lot more then where they are picked. QB or not. I have some hope for Darnold because being in a Gase offense does no favors to anyone.

Detroit Lions select Kyle Pitts- TE- Florida.

 

Hmmm... Pitts and Hock. That's an impressive depth chart. Still a bit of a surprise for me anyways.

 

Probably just planning on playing him at WR...

 

I could see them using Pitts like they used Calvin and having Hock as a more traditional TE

 

Pitts is playing in the Mike Evans Role. He is an X. TE in name only.
