Nice call on this post, both Vince and Nelson are gone, which makes us weaker in both positions, I think this defense is going to drop off significantly in 2021 due to new faces, inexperience and holes not being able to be filled.

Could live with that, except I don't think they go WR in the draft due to having 6 receivers plus on the roster already, I think maybe they could go CB, ILB or NT with the 2nd 4th rounder (comp).

tyson Alualu resigned, no need to draft a NT that early. ILB in round 4 makes a lot of sense. First 3 picks will be RB, OT, C. I can see them doubling up and taking 2 LB after that. They suck at drafting DB’s get somebody off the wire lots of cb’s still without teams.

We need a power RB. Our offense suffers too much without a running game

Charlie Casserly and MJD smoking the crack pipe. Casseely has the Steelers taking Justin Fields and Drew has them taking an edge rusher. MORONS. It’s going to be RB or OL period .

The Steelers won’t be drafting a quarterback in the first round, and I doubt they take one at all.

The Dobbs signing speaks more to the character concerns/unknown quantity of Haskins. He’s a familiar face and an inexpensive insurance policy.

Rudolph will be the starter in 2022, and the Steelers will sign him to a team friendly/budget contract that gives him the ability to prove he’s worth a larger deal, or for Pittsburgh to find a new arm within that contract period.

I'm hoping that the things Haskins is putting out there publicly is a true reflection of his growth but it's impossible to know that. If it is I think Rudolph could be a trade option this summer. Let the three of them battle it out for #2 and #3. No one thought Dobbs would beat out Landry Jones until he did.

Just my opinion mind you, but I think it's in PIT's best interests if anything including his work ethic scares Pittsburgh off Haskins. You don't want him as your starter anyways. He's middling at best. I think you either get lucky and have something legitimate in Rudolph, or burn it down and go looking for Ben's replacement when absolutely forced. Or after another 6-8 games of seeing how old he is on tape.

If the Steelers could land Najee Harris and Jalen Mayfield in the first 2 rounds, would anybody else be ecstatic or would it just be me?

Mayfield is more likely because Colbert looks to big programs in the first few rounds. My man Quinn Minerz is an animal and a people mover but his level of competition is less than desirable. Even though he was great @ the senior bowl Michigan OT’s are usually blue chippers.

I’m hoping Kyle Pitts falls to 6th just to give Hoodie fits twice a year. :)

Anyone like Monty Rice @ 87? Once you get past him the ILB talent really starts to falter. All 3 Ohio State backers have good traits and bad traits. Werner base is built like a toothpick, Borland can’t cover, and downing just doesn’t play up to his potential.

Personally I’d take Browning ahead of Rice all day. Rice looks pretty one dimensional to me.

What about McGrone? I like him a lot. Not a brick shi+house, but good instincts and he’s aggressive.

    Cameron Mcgrone is a risk
with the Knee injury. Barron rotated so it tells me he wasn't productive enough to stay on the field .

I’m not an “all in” on Etione , lots of miles on his odometer. And there’s the fumbling problem.

If for whatever reason they opted to take Javonte Williams, I wouldn’t be upset in the least bit. The kid reminds of Nick Chubb and he doesn’t have the wear and tear Harris and Etienne do.
