Broncos sign: Isaiah Loudermilk - DL - Wisconsin Texans sign Tarron Jackson - Edge - Coastal Carolina Rams sign Kayode Awosika - G - Buffalo One more Colts and Broncos signing to come
Browns sign Donovan Stiner, S - Florida Raiders sign Tuf Borland, LB - Ohio State Seattle signs Marco Wilson, CB Florida and Trill Williams CB, Syracuse
The Buffalo Bills sign: Tommy Kraemer, OG, Notre Dame 'cause I'm greedy. Thank you everyone, (and especially RT), for making this a fun and educational exercise. The Bills draft is complete.
Yikes. He spells it a little differently, but that's a classic NFL name that still brings back nightmares... anyone remember this play? (I bet Will does)
Nice one on Wilson. He was on my list to draft in round 5 comp / round 6 if Benjamin St-Juste got taken ahead of me.
I'm quite happy with my two signings. I don't even care whether either or both would be considered "value". They were both players that were on my list of candidates to take with my fifth or sixth round picks (I didn't have a seventh). I didn't think Kaindoh would make it to the UDFA stage, so I'm pleased with myself for pulling the trigger on the extra developmental TE (Zach Davidson, who I think is a serious sleeper candidate) in the sixth while I could lock him in. It came down to Davidson or Kaindoh with my last pick, and I ended up with both - plus one of the RBs on my list.
I had both Wilson & Trill Williams (& Darren Hall) on my UDFA list. Obviously I did not have them in my top-3, but they would not have lasted long if the Bills were to keep signing.
Thanks. I'm just happy I finally took some guys that were actually available. lol! Of my F/A signings, I'm most happy with Marlon Tuipulotu....Towards the end of round six, I traded Sheldrick Redwine to get back into the draft. My original target was Tuipolutu, but then I noticed Jonathan Cooper was still available, and my blind Buckeye love took over. Pretty stoked that I ended up acquiring both. Seems I got a little USC polynesion connection going here as Marlon gets to join his college teammate Talanoa Hufanga in Cleveland.... Surely these guys will love the weather.
I come on and people sign a 3rd guy before I get my 1st 2? Oh I'm stealing a couple with bigger bonuses.
I had Tuipalutu under consideration in the early 7th; I went with Malik Herring instead. That was based on how I viewed their respective fits in Buffalo's system. But, I'll be the first to admit that understanding schemes is not my forte - not by a long shot. I would not be surprised to see Tuipulotu go as high as the 4th round in April.
