Very limited resources in this draft for Seattle (only 4 draft picks). I kept expecting to trade down to acquire more draft equity, yet every time SEA got on the clock there was a prospect I didn't want to pass on....

    Staying true to form...

    Seattle selects

Off topic just for a second, because thought I should share.... I don't watch much college basketball. I basically follow the game through ESPN highlights and whatnot until tourney time....So in filling out my bracket, I sometimes kinda rely on the experts. I'll usually listen to the chatter on Monday and Tuesday, and then fill my bracket out on Wednesday and submit. Not sure how many freakin times Jay Bilas warned us all to watch out for the Beavers but I sure wish I'd have listened. Instead, I listened to the moron that said watch out for V.C.U.....

My son (16) got into my bracket competition for his first time this year. We have 345 participants and he stands in 18th place as of this moment...I however filled out two brackets and my best is in 211th place. lol!

    Madness.

That means BUF is still open for business with 6 (29).

This is a pretty accurate paraphrasing of some shit I might have said. lol

This sums it up perfectly. It's precisely why I drafted Nasirildeen AND re-signed Kazee AND re-signed Allen. That leaves T.J. Green to compete with prospect Jaylinn Hawkins (and others) for the #4 safety role rather than tentatively starting.

I'm not ready to give up on McGary. But one of the benefits of drafting Sewell is that we have options. Kicking McGary inside to guard (replacing Carpenter) is one of them. My roster's line might be (left to right) Matthews, McGary, Hennessy, Lindstrom, Sewell with Gono and Menet as the active backups.

The bigger thing there is going to be settling on a blocking scheme and sticking with it. Signing Carpenter and Jamon Brown (and drafting McGary) made perfect sense after OC Dirk Koetter said we'd be using more inside power/man blocking. But we stayed with the outside zone system instead. 340-pound Jamon Brown leading the way on an outside stretch run was every bit as bad as it sounds.
