I figured you'd trade up for a lineman considering it looked like you tried to get one last round.

I brought it up last year. But if there’s a position group and team where I’m not sure of their type, it’s the Rams and O-linemen.

I mean, Joseph Noteboom ≠ Brian Allen, in build or execution. So I’m never certain when projecting a fit for them. But Smith is a sleeper who had a great week at Senior Bowl. Very smooth. Somewhat undersized, but strength didn’t appear to be a weakness for him.

Whether it was Brady Christensen or D’Ante Smith I wanted to land a late developmental guy for the Rams who could up the competition level in camp at the tackle positions.
