That pipeline has been hit or miss for Atlanta. Over the course of franchise history, the Falcons have selected more players from LSU than any other school. Of the seven taken by our last two GMs, only two have worked out well. Two other recent ones (second rounder Jalen Collins and third rounder Duke Riley) were epic busts that suggest Dimitroff got worse at drafting over time rather than better.
It was definitely "miss" last year for Cleveland because of the injuries. Jarvis Landry was his usual self, but Greedy and Delpit never saw the field. Tack on the injuries to O'dell and Jacob Phillips, and it wasn't real good. But they are all young and we'll see what happens in 2021.
Can a guy be out of Georgia if he opted out right after transferring? Honestly, I forget what the actual NFL does. They have had it happen before.
