This is a honest request; I’m not trying to be snarky. How about throwing in some punctuation marks such as periods and commas?

You post some good stuff, but sometimes it’s hard to understand since your sentences flow into themselves. Periods and commas really help with that.

Trey Lance Pro Day draws several GMs, head coaches

North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance got a good turnout of NFL decision makers at his Pro Day workout on Friday.

Among those reported to attend were Jets General Manager Joe Douglas, Falcons General Manager Terry Fontenot and head coach Arthur Smith, Lions head coach Dan Campbell and General Manager Brad Holmes, Panthers General Manager Scott Fritterer and head coach Matt Rhule, Washington General Manager Martin Mayhew, Broncos General Manager George Paton, Bears General Manager Ryan Pace, Raiders General Manager Mike Mayock, Seahawks General Manager John Schneider and Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman.

All those GMs and coaches wouldn’t have made the trip to Fargo if Lance weren’t considered a prospect with a lot of potential, and footage from the Pro Day showed Lance making some impressive throws. Lance measured in at 6-foot-4 and 224 pounds.

In his one and only season as North Dakota State’s starter, he had eye-popping stats including a 66.9 percent completion rate, 9.7 yards per pass, 28 touchdowns and 0 interceptions, plus 1,100 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns. But Lance will get questioned by some because he was only a starter for one year, because he played at the FCS level, and because in the one game he played in 2020, which was set up by North Dakota State primarily to get him one more opportunity to show what he could do, he did not play particularly well.

I think QB is a very minimal need for the Vikings in this draft, but if opportunity knocks in later rounds, sure, grab somebody.

The high priorities for the Vikings should be, Wide Receiver, Center, OG and some defensive line help at the edge or CB position.

There must be something about Lance that is making these GM's curious, thats quite a list of brass thats giving him a look-see. He has his flaws, but he can light it up with his arm and his feet and I dont think GM's want another Lamar Jackson to get away. I havnt seen him as a starter, Im only going on what is out there and maybe thats exactly why he's drawing attention... people want to see him in person and make their own evaluations.

ILB might be a target in the draft also as Anthony Barr's contract is ridiculous. With Rick Speilman calling the shots it will be interesting... he usually gets a good grade by his constituents.

I'm just worried about him just can't buy the hype, there are Defensive Backs just as strong or stronger to stop his running, can he make passes in tight windows all they showed on youtube was his passing the ball to wide open receivers

Has Kirk Cousins restructure his contract to help Vikings out and put Anthony Barr on the trading block to see what you can get

  9. Willie Head Coach Manager News & Notes Vikings

Kirk is not restructured and will bilk the bank.

Barr on the other hand is a bit complicated. We should hear soon what the Vikings will do. They need to make a decision to either restructure his contract or flat out cut him as his cap hit isnt friendly. Barr is important and I'd like to see a restructure, but im still waiting to see what Spielman decides to do.

Report: Vikings restructuring Anthony Barr’s contract

The Vikings are working on a restructured contract for linebacker Anthony Barr.

The reworked deal will reduce Barr’s $12.3 million salary but makes him a free agent in 2022, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.

It will help the Vikings’ salary cap situation for this year, while getting Barr two years closer to free agency. He had three years left on his deal.

Barr, who turns 29 this week, tore a pectoral muscle in Week 2 against the Colts and spent the rest of 2020 on injured reserve.

The four-time Pro Bowl linebacker was Mike Zimmer’s first draft choice in 2014 when the Vikings made the former UCLA standout the ninth overall selection. Barr has served as a defensive captain the past three seasons.

In his seven seasons, Barr has 423 tackles, 15 sacks, two interceptions, eight forced fumbles and 26 pass breakups.

Ok Anthony Barr and the Vikings working to restructure his contract ok Kirk Cousins your turn to help out,HOW MUCH MONEY DO YOU NEED TO LIVE?

Badd most of the contracts that are restructured have added seasons to turn some of that seasons salary into bonus so it can be spread over more seasons and lower that coming seasons cap hit, The guaranteed contract that Cousins has probably can't work that way without him taking a pay cut. Most players don't take a pay cut just spread their cap hit to future years. It's like kicking the can down the road.

I've got to look at Kirk Cousins contract again and his$ 66 million extension, they might be stuck with him

From a strictly point of view as a homer and wearing Purple glasses I hope the Russell Wilson trade does not happen

There’s a risk to signing a great player quickly to a good-not-great contract. The player quickly may realize he’s underpaid.

That’s happened with Vikings defensive end Danielle Hunter. According to Chad Graff of TheAthletic.com, Hunter isn’t happy with the contract he signed in 2018. He’s reportedly considering all options — holding out, seeking a trade, or hiring a new agent.

Hunter, since the posting of the article by Graff, has pledged public loyalty to his current agency. However, Hunter did not rule out a holdout or a trade demand.

For now, the frustrations have remained private. Per Graff, Hunter “has expressed his frustrations to multiple people,” as he considers his next move.

His deal averages $14.4 million per year. That amount became glaring when the Chargers signed pass rusher Joey Bosa to a deal worth $27 million per year last August.

Complicating matters is the neck injury that began as a “tweak” and ended with surgery that kept him from playing in 2020.

This isn’t an ideal year to be seeking more money, from the Vikings or anyone. The cap is significantly down, and there are plenty of pass rushers available. Shaq Barrett, the top guy in the free-agency class, is reportedly getting a base average of $17 million per year on his new deal with the Bucs, signed as the free-agency negotiating window opened.

Hunter’s best play could be to return in 2021, show that he’s still the guy he was, and then make a play for more.

Offensive lineman Rashod Hill hit the free market on Monday afternoon, but he’s not going anywhere.

According to his agent Brett Tessler, Hill will re-sign with the Vikings on a fully guaranteed one-year deal.

Hill has been with the Vikings since 2016. He started seven games for Minnesota in 2017 and eight games in 2018 — beginning the year as the team’s starting right tackle. Over the last two seasons, he’s started two games, one in 2019 and one in 2020.

The Vikings will need a replacement for Riley Reiff, and Hill could be in the mix for that role in 2021.

Kirk Cousins has to restructure or the Vikings are in big time trouble ok I didn't like the fully guaranteed contract $84 million contract, the 2 yrs 66 $ million extension was just insane the Vikings haven't even sniffed the SB with him at qb he has to restructure to give the Vikings some cap relief GO VIKINGS

In a way I kinda blame Rick Spielman for the mess the Vikings are in
