Atlantic division teams lead three out of four divisions - and the fourth division doesn't have any Atlantic teams in it. Atlantic teams are also in second in two of those divisions.

Its a winter wonderland here. Got a foot of snow on top the 4-6" we already had. Im snowed in!

 

Alex Galchenyuk was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs by the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday.

Carolina received forward Egor Korshkov and defenseman David Warsofsky.

Galchenyuk was acquired by the Hurricanes along with forward Cedric Paquette on Saturday in a trade from the Ottawa Senators for forward Ryan Dzingel but never played a game for them. Carolina placed Galchenyuk on waivers Sunday, and the 27-year-old forward remained in Ottawa waiting to see if he was claimed by another team.
