As to what the OP was trying to accomplish here....picking a GOAT athlete is too hard.

Team sport vs individual. Judging by rings alone. Different eras. So on.

    Just too damn hard.

I do think when you take individual stats, longevity, team success, championships, and all other possible things...it's hard to make an argument that any QB in the history of football could possibly be considered greater than Tom Brady. But Jerry Rice, Walter Payton, Jim Brown, Ronnie Lott, and Lawrence Taylor all enter into the best ever category. In my opinion, anyway.

No one will ever change my mind that Michael Jordan is the single greatest NBA player ever....and no one, in my opinion, could claim to have a larger impact on his/her sport. Jordan took the NBA from kinda popular in the US to being a global sport that dominated highlight shows. There were others that helped but no one as big as MJ.

No one, absolutely no one, has ever statistically dominated a sport like Wayne Gretzky did hockey. His stats are mind blowing and only to be seen in video games.

Baseball is tough. Greatest ever? That's hard to answer. I'd say the best I ever saw with my own eyes was Greg Maddux. Ty Cobb, Ted Williams, Ruth, Aaron,Walter Johnson, Mays, Gibson, Gehrig, Gwynn, Cy, and a few others all would get some credit in that conversation. Barry Bonds may have been the most talented player I ever saw. He gets stained by taking steroids he didn't need to be great. Baseball is a tough one to mitigate. Babe Ruth probably changed the game and he was a God...so he usually gets the nod by default.

And then there's golf, swimming, tennis, track and field, and so many other great sports to talk about. Even horses enter the conversation. Jim Thorpe probably sits in his own category.

This is an impossible conversation that can't possibly be decided by one really bad poll where almost nothing is spelled correctly.

In addition to Brady leaving the pats because he likely knew they gave him no shot at a SB. He picked a team that was likely playoff bound even without him going there. The bucs were not a bad team last year they were done in by to many turnovers. You put any QB on that team that doesnt turn the ball over and they had a good shot at reaching the Super Bowl thanks to the D. Heck that even includes had winston gone back and cut his turnovers in half. Lets not act like Brady joined a last place team and forged them into a winner. Six of their Nine losses were by 1 score.

Even their SB win Brady didnt do anything extordinary to win the game for them it was the defense that won that game. Switch the qbs to oppossite teams in that game and Brady would have had the most embarrasing lossof his life just like Mahomes did because that D would have devoured Brady. Think he would have been able to scramble around and escape that rush like Mahomes did? Kudos to Brady for his seventh but to go and pin him the winner over belichick is way to early (this is why players have to wait to go into the hall of fame so voters dont get swept up in the momet). As pointed out be several pats had the most opt out players, they were carrying a lot od dead money (some form brady), I believe they had some cap issues as well and lets not forget prior to getting covid newton was playing well. You can also factor in for the first time in ages there were teams in their division with some fight (yet another thing Brady likely looked at in his exit. Also a factor in his descion to pickTampa over the Chargers when deciding. The falcons have been a mess since the sb loss, the panthers not much of a threat, and Brees likely on his last legs so he picked a division likely to be weak and ripe for the picking for the next 2 to 3 years.

Always give Credit where Credit is Due, that is a really good post.

I didn’t open it but I have seen you talk about him a lot in different places but I also read about him in a book of all time QBs that was around when I was 10 years old so all the old school QBs were in it.

Bowling is a lot of fun and getting the ball to the end of the lane is amazing. That's only happened to me a few times.

By the way underdogs recipe is for Indian Curry Goat, Jamaican Curry Goat doesn't employ any ginger in the recipe. Jamaican Curry GOAT is the GOAT of Curry Goats.

I like me some Sicilian goat stew but you can't find it on the internet. All the recipes you see are trash. Gotta make it from a passed down recipe. My cousin makes the best goat I've ever tasted and it isn't close.
