I didn’t really see any flags I totally disagreed with.

Chiefs have a reputation for holding on defense...they held in that game and got called for it.

    They played really undisciplined.

It just seemed like there were quite a few flags but the Chiefs did a lot of holding

I started flipping channels around at the beginning of the 4th quarter. I waited a whole season to watch that crap ??

I started to question my own wisdom during (what was supposed to be) the halftime "show". It was like you ordered Michael Jackson from the same people who call you five times a day about your car's warranty.

    I enjoyed the game itself.

Love when a defense can dictate a game. Tampa executed their game plan really well and decided exactly how the game would go.

All the people expecting a 42-41 “classic” simply don’t really understand the game.

Thats not cool and its not even a fact.

Both TB and KC were in the top 10 offensively and someone hoping to see a shoot-out as I did, isnt necessarily ignorant to the game itself.

TB and Bowles called and played the perfect game on defense on that particular day and won solidly... Brady playing at home was tough to beat also.

Both teams also have good defenses. And defenses built for games just like this one.

Brady playing at home...it’s not like that’s been his home his entire career. I don’t think he benefitted from that. He got protected, the run game, screen game, and play action worked.

I don’t understand why modern football has to be high scoring for fans to enjoy the game. I enjoy a 13-6 game as much as 45-37 and a lot of times I enjoy it even more.

The Bucs knew they couldn’t afford a shootout. They learned that lesson when the almost lost to the Packers. I highly appreciate the coaching effort that went into this game....it was a thing of beauty.

I agree here. They are both exciting, but id sure rather my favorite team had a hell of a defense.

The coaching was superb on TB's side of things and what caught my eye was the execution and discipline of the TB team... really played well and like a tuned up unit.

I thought Todd Bowles coached an excellent game......Champa Bay was in Patricks face for the whole game.

The only touchdown Mahomes got was when his plane touched down in Tampa

Feel like Mahomes was the only one on offense that showed up to play in the Super Bowl. The rest of the team thought it was the Pro Bowl. Mahomes was running for his life the entire game, and almost every pass was near perfectly placed. His receivers let him down. Robinson dropped one in the end zone, RB let one go right off the face mask and missed another. Kelce had at least 2 drops. Mahomes was getting knocked to the ground but still about to flick out a perfect pass 30 yards down the field, it was pretty amazing to watch. How much difference would Fisher have made? The entire line was Swiss cheese, so maybe not as much as I was thinking yesterday.

Also, whatever your feelings are on Brady, think he just ended the debate on who is the GOAT at the QB position. I’ll be the first to say I don’t like him, 7/10 in the SB, now with 2 teams, is remarkable. Hell, just getting to 10 is unbelievable.

I think Patrick really missed Laurent Duveay-Tardif yesterday.

Nice.......well said SteelersK and I agree.

That wasn’t on Mahomes. Dude came to play. His receivers dropped at least 2 TDs, possibly a third. I was amazed with how Mahomes played. Every play looked like a jailbreak, and he had to drop back 20 yards just so he could throw a pass. And almost every pass looked to be just a flick of a wrist but went 40 yards and damn near perfectly placed. 3 throws were particularly memorable, and I think they were either in succession or at least pretty close together: 1) Mahomes took the snap, dropped 10-15 yards, chased by 2-3 defenders threw a pass away. When is a throwaway remarkable? He was hit and he still made it 20-25 yards down the field to get it back to the LOS to avoid intentional grounding. 2) again, running from 3 defenders, was on his way to the ground, as in parallel to the ground, and flicked the ball into the end zone into double coverage and the pass doinked off Robinson’s hands. 3) running for his life (sensing a theme here?) looked like Eli on the helmet catch throw off his back foot and still on a line, through a defenders hand and hit his RB in the face mask. Not going to lie, if I were Mahomes I’d be pretty pissed at the rest of my offense.

Kinda makes you wonder why, especially early in the second half when there was still time to be patient, they didn’t attempt more draws and screens? They had some success on one or two of those draws on the opening drive of the 2nd half.

Yes they were, Chiefs line was pretty banged up and the Bucs took advantage. JPP and Shaq lived in the backfield all game long. In the second half it didn’t even look like the OL could get a hand on them. Sure looked like at the snap there were 3-4 Bucs already in the backfield.

Mahomes definitly showed up and played. Some people will look at the statline and say he played like crap. Dude was under pressure all night long credit 2 parts TB line play and scheme and 1 part shuffled line (or maybe vice versa or half each way). The fact he was only savked 3 times says a lot about hos ability to get away either through scrambling or getting rid of the ball.

His recievers absolutly failed him with several drops many in key situations (td or getting a first). Im pretty sure both of his interceptiond were off tips from his own players. Yes credit TB for taking Hill and Kelce away from him for the most part but if they are constantly doubling those two then your other guys have to be 1 on 1 and possible in a mismatch they have to win.

Was it me or did the KC coaching staff seem to make zero adjustments? Look there is no way Reids head was in the game no matter what he says and you cannot fault him for that. Yes he is a head coach but he is a human and a father. This is the time however for cordinators and assitants to step up (maybe this is why Bienmey didnt get more looks). Maybe they fell into the trap of the KC always comes back expecting Mahomes physical tools to eventually bail them out and bring them back (which maybe if his recievers make the catches they do make that come back or at least show some fight).

Yes a good defensive low scoring game can be entertaining. The key is in those games the outcome is often left in doubt until the very end of the game. This game lacked entertainment value because by half time it was over. Yes in the bavk of everyones mind you thought Mahomes and co will come out better in the second half and make a run but there was nothing to suggest that the KC d(they get a little d because the came up small yesterday) could stay out of its own way and complete a stop in brady without a flag comming out.

It never failed when the chiefs did anything that could swing the game they self inflicted wounds that gave any chance they
    Had of winning away;
1)Off sides on a field goal that became a first and a touchdown
    2)Holding on a turnover
3)Holding on a punt that was the best punt of the night for your punter and not to mention a fantastic open field tackle by pringle.
    4)Shanking the very next punt.
5)Kelce dropping a sure 1st down (which if i remeber right ked to the above punting fiasco)

Heck im surprised with all that went wrong the Chiefs actually had a succesful goal line stand. Im also surprised they did not hold on the pass out of the endzone.

Im also awarding massive bonus points (points dont matter and the game is made up anyways) to the Diving throw by Mahomes that probably should have been a touchdown.

Since this has been all over social media, feel we should address it: The refs played little to no part in the outcome of the game. Were there ticky-tack calls? Yes. Were they legit calls? Also yes. There were two holding calls I felt the flag should’ve stayed in the pocket, specifically the offensive holding call and the holding call on the INT. Again, they were penalties, but had no impact on the play. I get the offensive one looked worse in real time with the defender falling. But the other one just wasn’t enough to throw the flag in my opinion. Could that INT lit a fire under the Chiefs? Possibly, but they appeared to leave their hands in Kansas City.
