That third one was REALLY bad too...I'll admit. He just threw it up in the air to get rid of it. Regardless, you are talking about Brady, with a lead, Super Bowl on the line and just over two minutes to kill. Was there ANYONE watching that game that really thought the Packers were getting the ball back? Let alone with enough time to do anything other than a hail mary?
I'll take my chances giving Rodgers 4 chances at a TD inside the 10 over giving the ball back to Brady without the lead every day of the week and twice on Sunday!
I thought it was just one, but I get what your saying....IMO it's about more than just handing the ball over to Brady. Taking that FG was deflating to the entire Packers sideline. It was like a gut punch. The look on Rodgers' face as he was putting on his parka, said it all. He knew he wasn't getting the ball back. I hated the decision to kick.
This guy is quickly becoming one of my favorite Cleveland Browns of all time; Who knew there was such a contest? lol! Certainly no lack of confidence with Nick Chubb. He wouldn't say it if he didn't truly believe it. I wouldn't bet against him.... The dude hardly ever speaks, so this is some rare insight from one of the best RB's in the NFL, Nick Chubb. I enjoyed it. Nick Chubb Talks Browns' Baker Mayfield, LeBron vs. MJ, More in B/R AMA https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2929840-nick-chubb-talks-browns-baker-mayfield-lebron-vs-mj-more-in-br-ama
It would have been one if not for the brilliant move of encroaching on 2nd down, thus handing them the first first down, after the 8 yard run on first down. It saved them a timeout and forced the Patriots to at least earn one of the first downs.
Got a question you want to ask about anything NFL? I'm gonna have a couple free hours on Saturday for the first time in a looooooong time, so hit me with whatever you want to read me opine on and I'll post it for you this weekend.
How should the NFL handle OT? There's been some talk of reverting to 'sudden death' and other ideas bounced around. Id like your opinion on this.
