What no one is mentioning and wasn't a topic during the game either is the simple fact that we were operating with a guard at left tackle and ultimately a "practice squad" lineman in that spot for half the game. Those who felt we should have run more have to consider how much that squeezed the options to run left, and how much it impacted Baker's internal clock when passing. Still I'm surprised Hunt wasn't a bigger part of the play calling, and the number of "drops or at least coulda caught" passes we had. The D was not good, but did we really expect them to suddenly become smothering? Garrett's drop off following Covid was noticeable, and hopefully doesn't carry over into next year, cause we really needed him. We had our opportunity and couldn't make it work. Hats off to KC for their defensive effort, especially in the fourth quarter. A fantastic season for our Brownies. May there be many more ahead.
Andy Reid is one of the best in the business. Without a doubt, Kevin Stefanski was out-coached. But it was by a 20+ year guy who's been in Super Bowls before. K-Stef was a rookie head coach. I'm certain he'll learn his lessons and be ready for them next time.
Noted... the wording of the Thread was vague. Wasn't sure if that meant the usual smack talk or if that was a place for legit ideas.
The play calling was better when your offensive coordinator was making the calls against the Steelers. I think your HC needs to relieve himself of those duties
It just felt like they were better because we were beating the brakes off y'all. KC was a bit tougher.
