The Browns made the playoffs and their reward is coming to Pittsburgh to get a serious effort from the Steelers. Reality will set in that they don’t have what it takes to win on the road against a superior team. We are about to pull the flush handle and finish doing what you do brown stuff. Steelers 38 Browns 17
A lot of over confident Steelers fans calling the radio stations today thinking our beloveds will win easily next Sunday, I don’t know about that, this is still the same team that lost to Washington and the Bengals recently and Cleveland is much better than those teams. anyway topics of discussion: 1. should Dobbs get a hat as the 3rd QB so they can run a few of those RPOs? I say yes 2. if Fieler can play should they keep Dotson at LG and play Fieler at RT and use Chukes as a sixth lineman on a few running plays? I say yes to this too 3. will Spillane play? I haven’t heard much on his status 4. will they be able to contain the Browns running game, other than turnovers by the Steelers offense I think this is the biggest factor on the outcome of the game. What say you?
We sacked Mayfield 4 times without Wattage and Heyward, no Haden or Edmunds to cover WRs. Our defense will play much better this week.
Haden is out this week too. Won’t get cleared in time to play. Tested positive Friday at the earliest, need a minimum ten days away from the team.
I'd be surprised if this were a blowout game, or a multiple TD difference game... I expect/demand a barnburner!!!!!
Washington was not a good match up for the Steelers. Their front four is just too good for a team that can't run. Bengals capitalized on turnovers. I'm not guaranteeing the Steelers win here but the Browns D can be exploited a bit. We'll see, I guess.
Multiple positive covid test for the Browns Stefanski, two other coaches, left guard Joel Bitonio and receiver KhaDarel Hodge also tested positive, via NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
I wouldnt got that far. Now maybe if half the starters get taken out by contact tracing. But then againBig T likes to loose those games.
Do u think if let’s say Balt, Buffalo, or KC played Wash back then that they wouldn’t have beaten them convincingly ? I don’t exactly know their OL situation, I know Balt lost a few guys on the OL but they still run the ball well. The Steelers OL is getting most of the blame for their offensive woes lately but how much better are those OLs than the Steelers OL? the more I think about this the more I believe that the 3 biggest issues have been scheme/plays, their HOF QB, and below average RBs
On a side note “IF” our beloved Super Steelers go on a glorious playoff run I have a gut feeling that Minkah and/or JuJu will have monster games thru that run. thoughts?
All those teams run well which was my point. To me, the threat of a running game brings LBs and safeties a bit closer to the line and frees up the passing game a bit. Washington never respected a nonexistent running game and the Steelers made little effort to run. Washington's front four put pressure on and everyone else played back while crowding the short passing lanes. As an aside. The Browns gave up almost 100 more points this years than the WFT. Their D can be beaten. The Steelers just have to avoid turnovers.
2 more Browns tested positive. Facilities closed again today. They haven’t practiced all week what a mess
Not that the Browns needed any extra motivation but it was nice of Juju to provide some anyway....Keep the tweets comin.
I loved JuJu until this year, he turned into AB Junior this season, Going into the season I was hoping they kept him after this season but now I feel like his departure can’t come soon enough
