Merry Christmas to all of you! I hope that you all have a Merry Christmas and a safe & healthy New Year. Let's put this past year behind us and eat, drink and make merry!! All alone, of course ...
That is a very nice photo of you in front of your tree Baby.......lol And a really nice message.....Merry Christmas to you and Yours.
49ers gave you guys a nice gift, although I know some of you don't want the playoffs so you can clean house.
I feel like I’ve gotten to know Bears fans on here and I don’t honestly think there is one alive that would pass on playoffs. They will STILL want to clean house after playoffs are over, but none would hope for missing out, lol. That said, I agree with Joe, it was a great gift by the 49ers, you hold your destiny in your hands and good luck these next two weeks!!
I only said that because some actually were saying they wanted out a couple weeks ago. But deep inside I dunno if they really mean it.
We wanted Pace and Nagy fired. Nagy is rumored to be coming back regardless. No word on Pace yet. Making the playoffs as the 7 seed and getting pounded by our archrivals twice in the final 5 weeks is awful for the long-term future of this team, as it means no regime changes and more mediocrity for years to come.
Speaking only for myself, I always want to see the Bears win, and a playoff shot is a playoff shot. What I for sure don't want to see is 8-8 pure mediocrity which is so Bears it's not even funny. Middling, bullshit middle of the road with no real good prospects to get out of it. That said, the realistic chances of this team making much noise in the playoffs, even if they DO back in is minimal, but I'd take that over watching other teams for a week. Do you think if they backdoor into the playoffs and losing to the Packers twice in a row would make a difference at this point? I'd think if they lose both there's still some hope for Pace getting fired. If they win even one though I agree Pace is back. So worst case might be beating the backups?
Absolutely. No way Pace is getting fired after making the playoffs 2 of the last 3 years, even if it means getting raped by the Packers again in a big game.
