F*** off. Families in other countries are gathering like nothing's wrong, and I haven't seen mine in a year. My f***ing elected representatives have all gotten vaccines, after spending the entire year railing against the idea of the virus, masks, safety or common sense of any kind, and further pushing insane conspiracy theories like yours.

Piss off. You and everyone like you are making this worse for everyone, and people are suffering for it. My 7 year old is going to cry for hours when we break the news to him, and it's because too many people are too damn stupid, and too damn selfish. You f***s.

I have an uncle on a ventilator right now (he's a physical therapist for a big Chicago hospital and got it inevitably) with it and otherwise won't be seeing the extended fam this holiday either. That's not entirely a bad thing because some of my family are wacko Trumper conspiracy theorists/one Christian Scientist who tries to shame us for drinking beer/wine and learning science.

So Trump vetoed a "veto-proof" bill. He is just being spiteful, forcing the people to get off their break to override his veto. He is pure scum wasting resources here just because he's a baby.

 

I don't agree with Kyreal's opinion but I do agree with his right to voice his opinion freely and safely without incurring personal criticism. You don't have to agree with him but you can respect that those are his thoughts even if they don't jibe with your own. Some may call his thoughts insane, others might might see some truth to parts of them and others will agree completely. Don't go off on each other. Going off on each other only serves to increase the extremely high levels of intolerance and hatred that society seems to have for anyone who does not agree with their opinions. Find a way to explain your position and respectfully challenge each other to defend your opinion.

We live in a country where people will eat food filled with chemicals but question what’s in their medicine because they don’t trust a vaccine.

At twenty plus trillion in debt, maybe 30 plus trillion, the US is on the tipping point already, so what kyreal wrote is a lot closer to being true than things getting fixed the way Trump was going about getting it fixed before Covid-19 struck. The economy was booming and America was clearly the top nation in the world again. Only Biden’s mama would have voted for him before the virus. The vaccine is not the mark of the beast which this article is alluding to. The mark of the beast is so simple that people can’t see it.

When Trump was hemorrhaging and printing money to give to his crony friends, running up the credit card, and bloating the deficit from $587 billion to $3.13 trillion from when Obama left to now/national debt from $19 trillion to $26 and change from 2016 to now--you and all of his other fans were fucking silent. Food quality, education, cost of living, and numerous other categories America went backwards in while other countries passed us. Life expectancy went down before making a modest gain in 2020 while it went up in other countries. Oops.

No matter how many Fox Business/OAN/Newsmax pundits you love so much say it is otherwise, this is bullshit. The economy is great if your bank account has 7+ figures in it, sure--you're probably doing excellent now. But if you're an average joe? It really isn't. It's rugged individualism with a stiff middle finger and a condescending "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" for you from your elected representatives.

People were and still are working multiple jobs, are in financial ruin via medical/student/other forms of debt and get no relief. Cost of living is up, wages are down, medical costs still sky high.
