The one advantage to being on top this late in the season is people will make some sucker picks trying to be different than you because they can’t catch you if they copy you. 3 games up with 4 weeks to go.

 

If I'm in Everton's shoes, here's what I'd do. Over the next two or three weeks, find a couple of games where BOTH teams have nothing to play for. (their season is over). Those teams tend to just mail it in. Pick the underdog in both games and hope for the best. The odds are against you but it can happen. Then in week 17, go for that third upset. Week 17 is always full of surprises. I think that's his only hope.

 

You guys are really over thinking this, its cute.

If its ok with the experienced pickers and gidion i'll keep doing what i've been doing, which is pick each game on who i think will win and give precisely zero fucks about what anyone else is picking. And maybe this week i'll go 0-16. Who wants to guess how much that will impact my day.

 

BTW SoCal, you obvs know more about this stuff than me, but i wouldn't have thought making up 3 games in 4weeks is that hard at all really?

Just this week we've had 3 clear upsets and thats before the more 50/50 calls like the Rams-Cards, Pats-LAC, and 60/40ish Bills-9ers. Doesn't seem that hard really.

And the way i know thats true is cos making a whole load of prayer, unlikely picks is how gidion caught me up in the first place lol.

 

If they only played 1 game per week, a three game lead with 4 weeks to go is virtually insurmountable. But . . . they play 16 games a week.

 

You can’t catch anyone if you don’t pick differently from them is my only point. I’m free to pick whoever I want, but if someone is to catch me then they will have to pick some teams that they may not really want to.
