I woke up this morning to learn that the game was a Sunday night primetime game. I hate that they do that to us... At least I can drink without wasting the resting of the day.
Vikes just pulled one out of their ass because Carolina is a dumb football team. Lions just shitcanned their gm and Matt Patricia. Lucky. If the pack wants to hang 50 on this team, I won’t complain. Can’t wait for Buster Skrine to cover Devante Adams. Can’t wait for Kmet to be ignored again. Can’t wait for Mitch to remind us why we were happy he got benched in the first place. Okay, time for more Malbec. Happy Sunday y’all.
I’m out of my single malt islay (Lagavulin 16 is the only hard liquor I’ll do) and the only beer I have is Cinnamon Prost Crunch from Old Irving Brewery on the north side—which is incredibly sweet/I’ll be diabetic by 8:30—and Gumballhead by 3Floyds. Fiancé bought us a “12 Days of Christmas” wine bottles collection from a local winery she’s a member of. And I’m just not the type to wait until Advent—as I stopped being catholic/religious when I reached autonomy at 13-14. Open to suggestions otherwise. Will be disappointed/lose immense respect for you if you say miller/Budweiser.
Okay. So if we're all baring our chests and disclosing secrets here i just want to ask that nobody yell at me if/when I say something stupid or wrong. Thank you.
Lot of great stories courtesy of this beauty (and Blatz/La Crosse/Hamms/Mickeys) a decade ago during undergrad. Most I don’t remember. The ones I do involve bat spins/bribing campus security to let us use their golf cart then taking it when they politely told us ‘no.’
Yell? Never. Make smartass, oft juvenile comments or requests for Sammies? Pretty sure you signed up for that
Oh god. Never. For simple and standard American lagers, Most every place does a much better job. It’s typically the local breweries. Just visited the Smokey Mountains. Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg all had local places that did things right. That’s why Anheiser Busch had to buy Goose Island t make up for losses (before whatever euro company bought them out).
Just opened a bottle of OH Ingram whiskey it’s river aged....aged in barrels on a ship that cruises the Cumberland river that should dull some of the pain coming tonight
Yeah we spent a couple weeks down that way a few years ago. Some pretty amazing hiking and stuff too.
