I had to pick the avocados up off the floor where I dropped them. I had to sort the bananas because I'm making banana chocolate chip cake and you always need to cook rice, am I right?

 

Not always. I prefer potatoes. Or cous cous. Or risotto.

But who are we kidding here Bww? You and I both know that I'm going to stare at your picks in absolute despair until something happens to wake my brain up and then voila! I'll have them.

In the meanwhile I have to get to a physiotherapy appt and then come home and shovel snow. Your picks are my absolutely highest priority which I will try to sort out before December 24th.

That was an absolute joke of a no call. I think there should be leeway with those calls generally, its too easy for a hand to brush the grill or something, but that was a fucking right hook to the side of the head! Absolutely laughable officiating.

I think the extra 15 would've put them around the Vikings 40, so nearly in FG range. Certainly a chance to end up with at least a long FG and cut the deficit to 3. But very unlikely it would've lead to a TD and i dont think it ultimately affected the outcome. But mistakes that bad shouldn't happen.

 

Always a blast when the Bears and Vikings hook up.

Kudos Will for the win........over the last 20 years Minnesota has not done well @ Solider Field and last nights win was Huge.

Absolutely laughable officiating.

I agree Everton......the NFL reffing has become as bad as the CFL reffing......which is really bad.

The Bears should have had a 1st and 10 because of that punch to the helmet.

It's going to be interesting to see if the Bears can turn things around after their Bye Week......it will be tough as they get the Packers and then the Lions.

I like Lamar Jackson but, in my opinion, he falls into the category of QBs with great athletic ability but an unrefined passing arm and a good understanding of reading defenses. He is very good at throwing between the hashmarks when he can hold the ball a bit and see the play develop. One thing I noticed, and the Steelers probably noticed too, is his inability to read a zone blitz when linebackers drop into coverage. Both INTs by the Steelers were from linebackers that backed up to cover hot reads that went near the sidelines.

As his athletic ability diminishes from the pounding he takes, the Ravens better hope he gets better as a passer or they'll get another post-incarceration Mike Vick.

I don't want to make it sound like I'm down on him because, he is a dangerous QB and he was MVP for a reason but teams figure out your game and if a QB isn't a true passer, defenses adjust to you.
