Bears play a game next Sunday (Things to Watch)

1 pass is hardly a fair sample size to compare. I'm desperate for something, anything. Offensively we have nothing to lose. We're bottom 3 in the league. Start Bray.

Your time as a Bears fan should tell you all you need to know about a 3rd string savior QB. Matt Barkley comes to mind.

Plus Bray is questionable for Sunday due to Covid. I read some ridiculous article saying Mack is the next most qualified QB.

 

This is pretty serious and scary.

 

Vvarder, I remember watching every single one of the QBs we've started in the last 30 years. Jonathan Quinn or Todd Collins are probably the absolute worst in my opinion. Or maybe Rick Mirer. But I'm fine with adding Bray to that list. Again, tell me what we have to lose? Our offense is god awful. Trubs is stupid and Foles is slow and weak. Both turn the ball over way too much. Both miss open receivers week after week. Both take dumb sacks. Maybe Bray does all of that. And maybe not. Add him to the starting QB list. Let that list keep growing until the right guy is found, even though I'm 99.99% certain the right guy is not Bray. But you know what I'm 100% certain of? That neither Mitch nor Foles is the right guy.

Our QB situation has been so bad that Matt Barkley is far from the worst I've seen in my life. If Bray is at Matt Barkley's level, then by our standards that's not that bad.

 

Exactly, but I'm certainly not hoping that Foles goes down.

If Mack can play QB, let him do it. If he can call offensive plays, let him do it. Not saying, just saying.
