Not really true at all. Brady has played in a system that his coaches have changed over the years to suit his style. Brady has it easier because of the talent around him in TB. But Brady also has to get the entire offense to think like him. And to understand what he wants/needs for the offense to work. At a time in his life where his physical tools, which were never top notch, aren't as great as they once were. Belichick, use his real name...you're not 12, definitely has the harder job especially after losing good players to Covid this season.
Here's a random prognostication (just for the fuck of it)... The Dallas Cowboys are going to march through the rest of this season without winning another game. They will be slotted in at #2 in the draft, and swap picks for a large haul with the Bengals. Dak Prescott will not be resigned. Trevor Lawrence is the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys in 2021. The Bengals win the AFC North division title in 2022. I may still have some bourbon coursing through my veins...
In 2022 the cowboys lose to the Steelers in the SB. Ben retires a five time champion finally realizing his full potential. Ending his career above his childhood idle. Of course he has broke the ravens hearts a few times just as his childhood idle broke their hearts when they were the browns
Gase squeaks out two wins and tie breakers have them drafting third. Because that would be a Gase thing to do...
Then, if the Cowboys have the 2nd pick - who owns the #1 pick? The Bengals? Cincinnati will end up with more wins this year than both Dallas and the Jets. They still have 3 games left against the NFC East. (But then there's that pesky tie with the Eagles.)
Eh, this isn’t something I’m willing to breakdown or reason out. It’s just a random thought that popped into my hazy morning mind.
No, this circles back to you always being an asshole. And you always deliver.... Tim asked for my take on Mayfield. Should I have just ignored him, because I knew you would be around with this take? lol! No. Hell, I even said in the post that I would get attacked if I gave my opinion on Baker. Thanks for coming through as expected.
Speaking of the 2021 draft . . . There's a good chance that three NFC East teams will have a top 10 draft slot. It would be all four except one of them will be knocked out of the playoffs by a wild card team earning them the 19th O/A pick.
There's something to be said for consistency. No you definitely shouldn't ignore him. But you should consider removing the homer stick from your ass before you reply. Where's the attack? Show me where I attacked you. Take this doll and show the court where the bad man touched you.
Interesting . . . Except the Jets will draft Lawrence #1 O/A. There are 7 other teams in the running for Trevor........Vikings are hurting bad and I can see them losing out. I bet the Jags Tank to get 1st overall........they need a QB real bad.
And interestingly....there's a legit chance that none of them will take a QB. Though I think the Jets ultimately do....and they trade Darnold...there's also a chance they get that wrong.
Not counting injuries....there are probably only 2-3 teams in the league where I would say that currently....QB is their biggest issue that needs to be addressed within the next offseason. There are teams, TB Packers Saints among them, that have decisions to make due to having aging superstars...but for the most part when you look at the worst teams in the league there are other issues that probably need to get addressed before QB. Is Lawrence a once in a generation type guy that makes you ignore more pressing needs because his talent can mask them?
Is Lawrence a once in a generation type guy that makes you ignore more pressing needs because his talent can mask them? I say YES............and I do agree with you he will probably go to NY Jets.
Oh please no. The ego involved in deciding you and your son can effectively play the roles of GM and Director of Player Personnel is mind-blowing. That kind of bullshit simply cannot be rewarded with a player like Trevor Lawrence.
