lol! Fine. Brady is a clutch QB that sucks under pressure. Does that make the Bears fans happy? You guys can all believe that if you want. What do I care?
There's no reason to throw a bitch fit....the numbers back up what beach said. There's a reason the Patriots played offense the way they did for so many years...hurry up and get the ball out quick. There's a reason they spent so much attention on the oline...always drafting bodies to employ there. And cycling them in and out. Go back and look at all the times Brady had a bad game or was stopped...it's usually by a team that was able to get to him.
Under pressure meaning with the defense in his face. Not like this is a big moment type pressure. I hope you realize that.
When Chicago beat the shit out of Brady and Bucs a couple weeks ago, I'm sure everything would have worked out just fine for Tampa in that game if only they had Phillip Rivers. According to beach's chart, Rivers is amazing in that situation.
gross overstatement to say that you can beat Brady simply by pressuring him. yes the Giants had done that twice but numerous other teams have tried and failed at the same attempt dozens, if not hundreds, of times. hell, if David Tyree hadnt caught that ball and Wes Welker had caught his the Giants wouldnt have won either game and this wouldnt even be a conversation. you can slow down any qb by pressuring them, Brasy included. Mayfield included. everyone included. Eagles even beat Brady and didnt come at him much at all.
Say what you want about Bears fans...at least we don’t become childish simply because someone said something negative about our QB. The point beach made was absolutely correct. Either debunk it with facts or walk away.
the notion that theres "a winner" 6 games in to the following season with 2 completely different rosters is absurd.
Don't you guys think, at the very least, that PFF chart is misleading? It's garbage. Besides Brady, what about Kyler Murray?? He's in his second year in the league, and he is solidly in the conversation for league MVP, yet there he is at the bottom of the chart next to poor little ol Baker. So we should think that Murray is no good under pressure? Stats like that are meant to get people talking, so kudos to PFF on that. Of course any QB will struggle under intense pressure. I mentioned that last week after Pittsburgh was just jumping our snap counts all afternoon and destroying any chance for our offense to get going. Like I said, Watt and Dupree were on Baker before he could even find the laces, and the Browns did nothing to try and mix up the cadence. It was brutal, and no QB would have found success in that situation.
The only time that the Steelers beat Brady and the patriots is when they got extreme pressure on him.
Giants defense and how they played Brady...pressuring him was the reason Giants won. Especially the first time. Giants defense wrecked the Patriots offense with pressure.
Saying pressure beats Brady isn’t saying it’s easy. It’s not. It’s extremely f’n hard. Brady is great for a reason. The Patriots were a once in a lifetime type dynasty for a reason.
