I saw a story online about a guy in Arizona who did roughly the same thing. Put some gunpowder and blue stuff in a box and set it out in a field. Arizona in the summer and do this ?? Took his gun and shot the box.

40,000 charred acres later he got 5 years probation and 8 million + dollars in restitution. Burned down a bunch of houses.

A Slovenian woman has been found guilty of deliberately sawing off her own hand as part of an insurance scam.

A court in the capital Ljubljana found that Julija Adlesic, 22, had taken out five insurance policies in the year before her injury. She had claimed it happened as she cut branches.
Adlesic stood to gain more than €1m (£900,000, $1.16m) in payouts.
She now faces two years in prison, while her boyfriend has been given a three-year sentence.
Adlesic and a number of relatives were arrested in 2019 after she arrived in hospital with her hand cut off above the wrist.
The court found that she and her boyfriend had intentionally left the severed hand behind rather than bringing it with them to ensure the disability was permanent. However, authorities recovered it in time to sew it back on.
Prosecutors said the woman's boyfriend had also made internet searches about artificial hands in the days beforehand.
Prosecutors said this was proof that the injury was intentional.
Adlesic's boyfriend's father was also given a one-year suspended sentence.
Throughout the trial, Adlesic had denied intentionally cutting off her hand.
Had the fraudulent claim been successful, the couple would have received more than half a million euros as a lump sum, with the rest paid in monthly installments.

Bro this guy is speaking the truth. He be no dumbass. Mad respect for him having the balls to do this and to say that real wings are delicious and that "boneless chicken wings" could be renamed to "trash".

 

I have to agree with @LAOJoe on this one, he actually got this passed according to my wife. All the restaurants in Lincoln have to remove boneless wings from their menu and call them something else.

This whole PS5 fiasco is pretty dumb. The showcased it "yesterday" and said it'd be available for order the next day. Everyone sells out the same day after putting it up early. I'm also dumb for getting one.

 

Now were to 19,000 acres burned. And one dead hotshot. No charges have been filed yet. They usually don't do that until the fire is out. Whoever did this is toast. What is that, manslaughter ???

I agree Irish.........but it made the News up here and I agree with this Guy......Chicken Wings are not Boneless Chicken Wings.

They are PRESSED Chicken Fingers.......huge difference.

What's dumb is that this City Council spent their tax payer's dollars to even discuss this and then adopt it. Where's even a potential return for the tax payer dollar to mandate what a few restaurants can call a menu item.

 

It’s hard to believe that they had the time to waste on this when they are in the middle of a pandemic.
