Let's see which bird walks away with the win. The 4-1 Browns play the 4-0 Steelers, so the Ravens will need this win to keep pace (in the win column) with whichever teams triumphs in that game. Let's go, Ravens!!!

Ravens up 14-0 at the end of the 1st. The offense is still struggling but the D has been dominant so far, with Joker forcing a fumble on Wentz which the Ravens cashed in with a Gus Edwards TD run. Ingram has an ankle injury so we should see more Dobbins and Gus today.

I like that they went to pass catchers not named Brown or Andrews on that first drive and still got a TD out of it.

Nice long pass to Snead that he almost coughed up as I say this

The Eagles have less than 10 yards total offense halfway through the 2nd quarter. This Defense has been utterly Outstanding so far today. Crazy amount of pressure, air tight pass D, even Chris Board is covering Ertz like he is a CB....

Less than 10? Last I saw they had negative 5 lol.

The whole team went to sleep in the 2nd half, Wentz went on one of his patented 2nd half comebacks and they nearly pulled out the win. Luckily, the Ravens did just enough to win, but FAR FAR Too many penalties, mental errors will not cut it against good teams. Tighten up boys.

I'm sure you guys remember, but my stat of the Ravens being almost a nearly guaranteed loss before the bye (especially when on the road) nearly showed its head today.

They desperately need the bye because hopefully it causes the coaches to think, reflect, and change things up. I feel like this is one of the biggest holes (especially on offense). Jackson wasn't good yet again, but his few brilliant moments where he utilized his special talents really helped us win the game. I don't give a crap about proving you can QB like the rest of the NFL. They need to get the offense using the gadgets like last year with the RPO far more often and allowing Jackson to run. That threat is what generates holes for the RBs as the defenses don't know if they have to keep outside contain or crash the run up the middle. That is what will improve our pass blocking also as we'll get an extra second while the defender has to figure out what's happening.

I didn't get to see the first drive where Boykin made a catch, but I did see him yet again in a whole different playbook from Lamar. Does Boykin not know his routes? Do he and Lamar simply have no chemistry at all? The passing game just looks awful this year. Last year we had plays with guys wide open. This year, there's nothing appetizing (to go along with nothing on the ground).

I'm mentioning them late, but the offensive line was a bag of suck all game. Did we have 3 penalties for lining up too far off the ball? What a dumpster fire all day.

Defense was looking great and then imploded late in the second half. After the Eagles started getting tricky, it was all downhill from there with bad tackling, being out of position, and giving up huge plays.

I'm sure in his HC interviews last year, Roman was told they need to see his system work for a more traditional team. Harbaugh needs to sit him down and tell him to cut that BS out. I really feel like the offense is being crippled by trying to turn it into a generic predictable NFL offense which would be best for Roman's career path. The Ravens succeeded because they were different from other teams. Making us try to mimic them is not working.

5-1 is a great record, but we have higher expectations this season.

To be somewhat fair to Boykin, I don't think that pass was on him. In that play, all receivers seem to be running deep except Andrews who's running a crosser towards the left sideline (I may have this route name wrong). Looks like everyone was meant to clear out the underneath for Andrews. Lamar threw that pass before any WR go out of their break. Also, Snead was the only one open on a seam route.

Don't get me wrong, i agree that Lamar and Boykin are not on the same page. But that one wasn't on Miles imo

I know this article came out earlier in the day and everyone probably read it by now, but it's about Jackson and Boykin.

"It's happened at least twice in the last two games," Harbaugh said. "Those are plays that are opportunities for big conversions. We talked about that in the meeting today. That's got to be fixed. It will be. They're both very smart. It's Miles' responsibility to get it right. Lamar's calling the play and Miles has to get it right. He knows that, he's a very accountable guy."

By now, I don't recall the specifics of the play aside from it happening up the sideline. I'm even more inclined to believe Boykin ran the wrong route or missed a change as the hot receiver.

Yup. It appears I was wrong. Lamar called an audible and Miles ran the wrong route twice. I'm now wondering if he's jusy struggling with the playbook.

Now if only my team could actually be healthy. We had 2 supposed-to-be day 1 starters left in the game. Wentz and Kelce; QB and Center.
