Now it looks like chiefs pats are going to move as well if its,postponed im going to start to run out of players in some leagues.

 

this is why we cancelled one of my leagues and we have alternative plans in the others. This could me a messy fantasy year.

 

It's also why I pushed the start of my NCAA Football Pick'em contest to next year. Keeping track of schedules, point spreads and player's availability will be like juggling squirrels.

 

The hard part would be juggling squirrels while they juggle their nuts

I also have Chris Goodwin and JK Dobbins, given that Goodwin was out OBJ and Hunt were my best options.

Drafted Hunt as a weekly flex play so went with him.

Hindsight being 20/20 I should have started OBJ over Chubb. I knew OBJ was due, but man did he go above and beyond.

Normal injuries and covid are going to make this a wild year. Especially in leagues with small reserve benches. Even in some franchise leagues with bigger benches its becoming challenging. You have some young players you are trying to hold onto for the future but you have to balence with trying to keep enough active guys onnthe roster to field a starting roster. On the plus side sometimes it takes out the who do I start debate because you just roll out who is playing.

I imagine when bye weeks start it will be even more painful...um i mean fun.

 

What's crazy about Odell's big day is that he still teetered near a 50% catch rate and didn't crack 90 receiving. It took a reverse pass from Landry and a reverse run for him to end up with a better afternoon than Hunt.

Really good day for Beckham, but he needs to start producing better numbers from conventional offense before he can be trusted in that weekly flex spot, IMO.

Add in the idea that Hunt is about to feast on reps with Chubb out, Kareem has to be considered the better of the two options until Odell proves otherwise.

 

Agreed that OBJ is not yet a solid flex play. Hunt will elevate to the starting lineup in place of Chubb. If goodwin isn't ready then I may have to rely on OBJ. We'll see how waivers go this week

 

Not that it would have mattered or got me a 'W', but Calvin Ridley posted a big fat '0'...

 

Somehow I managed to pull out two wins out of four leagues this week with all the machinations needed just to fill out lineups.

Still off to worst start I can ever remember through 4 weeks with three 2-2’s and a 1-3, though. Hopefully the rash of injuries and rona-related shortfalls will subside after this week.

 

I lost money in FanDuel. All I need was 4 points from Ridley to take SECOND place, instead I was 4th and no money.

 

That feeling when you have a player like Claypool on you bench in one league and then in another someone actually started him against you.

 

Whoever has Prescott better start looking for a QB on the waiver wire

 

I don’t have him in any dynasty leagues.
But I lost him in my only money re-draft league. Too bad because I was looking like a legit contender. Now I put my odds probably 4th-5th. But definitely not top two anymore. My brother is rolling through everyone in that league.

 

I have him in my dynasty league but also have Lamar. Just traded for Minshew to cover the bye.

I just lost my game in that league to an 0-4 team on that garbage time Jonnu TD. By one point. When I outscored every other team in the league.

Stupid game

 

Those are the losses that are always a killer. I tend to have those losses in the first round of the playoffs but to make it worse I outscore everyone for the reminder of the playoffs.

 

Don’t get me wrong, it was a pointless league. But I remember one league I missed the playoffs by a tiebreaker, and then out scored every playoff team every playoff week...from the bleachers
