Hard to believe he wasnt the first coach fired this season.

 

Dallas at 1-3 and losing to the Giants, 17-3... if that holds up, Cowboys might fire someone.

 

Talking heads on fox feel like if quinn isnt fired tomorrow he wont be fired all year (I dont think Arthur Blank has fired anyone in season before). They seem to think if Quinn is fired it will be the DC as intern coach but how do you go there when the defense has been the root of their losses.

 

I know the 49ers have a ton of injuries they have been dealing with but wow down 30 to 7 to the dolphins.

If I am the cowboys I start asking if wwemcan start the game down by 14 that way they come out of the locker room ready to play. They remind me of a girls softball team I coached 1 year. No matter what our pregame ritual was they would not start playing until after the second inning. From the 2nd on they were one of the best teams in the league.

Brutal injury.

Stuff like that is why I take no issue with players trying to get every dime out a team on their contract. Careers can be derailed on 1 play.

 

He'll be back and he'll get paid a ton of money.

If im the jets I dangle bell out there to see if anyone will give me anything for him. Heck I might even see if there are Darnold takers. Set yourself up fro drafting Lawerence and throw money at Dabo to be the next jets HC.

How do the falcons name Morris the hc when the defense blowing chunks cost them at least 2 wins this season?

 

It’s their way of honoring BLM. Your season is shot already anyway, so appease the masses.

I can’t come up with any legitimate reason that they should put Morris at HC when the defense was one of the worst in the league. The defense has surrendered huge leads multiple times. Maybe they feel another DC will improve that. Maybe they want to draft Lawrence.

 

Maybe they just wanted to hand it off to a guy with HC experience and feel Morris is the better option because Koetter can keep his focus on offense and Morris has coached on both sides of the ball for the team so he knows the roster a little more?

 

This would be the driving reasons, IMO.

 

I know money is a big reason to go but right now with the Jets holding the first pick Lawrence might choose to stay 1 more year at Clemson. If im Trevor of the teams right now projected to end up with a top 10 pick I'm hoping somehow the Vikings or the Falcons slide into first by some miracle.

 

Crazy but plausible scenario...

The Cowboys lose enough games to remain in trading distance for the top pick, draft Lawrence and Dak ends up in Jacksonville on a one year prove it deal because of the injury.

 

Dak would go to Chicago
