Not sure how the team recovers from this going forward. This first half has been a complete failure all around, topped off by letting the opponent ram it down your throat on 4th down from their own 20. Amazing if this team has a shred of self-respect left. I know the fans have none left for them.
The Patriots with Brady have done it before I feel, not to the Bears but to others. I agree it's amazing, but it's on the Bears to stop them. It's a lack of respect for the D, and if they don't get it, you bet our offense isn't converting more than 3 points. They've now driven to the red zone on the OTHER fucking side. DOUBLE the time of possession.
At that point in the game? Maybe, I guess I missed those games. Again, I would do the same thing if I were the Bucs.
This game makes me think of one of my favorite coach quotes. Not even sure by who (old guy from years ago). "We didn't block, but we made up for it by not tackling". I have no positives at this point. Maybe the run game hasn't been completely stuff like I expected.
Good point, early in the 2nd is REALLY early to flaunt disrespect. But the Bears have earned that disrespect. What's the -6 on the run? WOO HOO, great call.
Dont' look now, but the Bears have completely a few throws in a row. We might actually score a TD this half!
Been gifted two calls by the refs on this drive. Usually don't get to say that. Obviously false start and then on that pass to Robinson missed a pretty blatant hold.
