Other than going into a shell on O for a couple possessions, I am a happy Browns fan, but did you have to make me sweat after a 27 point lead?
Steelers are still all alone in first place!!!! NO NO NO........Steelers are going to lose to the Titans and the Browns will be tied for FIRST in the North.......lol
Nice to have a healthy OBJ this year. He looks awesome! And Myles Garrett is just a beast. He looks like defensive MVP candidate.... Great game for the Browns. They needed that one. It got a little scary for a minute, but they held on, and made a huge play at the end when they had to. That was a lot of fun, other than losing Chubb. I'm hopeful that it's not a major injury. Keeping fingers crossed.
Jacob Phillips made a few plays in coverage and was a pleasant surprise. I already prefer him over Takitaki. Nice to get some of these defenders back on the field. SendeNO has to go though
@Lyman So.....you're trying to say that they'll go on an 0-36 streak to match? I am extremely overjoyed to see the offense buying in to Stefanski's plan. Now the defense on the other hand.......that's got to get better and soon.
Another thing, other than a blocked PAT yesterday, the kicking game hasn't been a concern either. Not sure what Parkey's range is yet as they haven't really needed him.
Dallas was offsides for the block. Parkey's career long is 54 so he's got a good leg. Just needs to be a little more consistent. 85% field goal conversion ratio not high enough. I don't trust him in Cleveland with wind/snow.
There's a reason they picked up Austin Seibert when they already had Parkey on the roster. And, in case you missed it, they signed another kicker (Matt McCrane) to the practice squad. Stay tuned . . .
Wild... this would seem to indicate the best offenses in the NFL currently are the Bills, the Chiefs, the Pack, and the Browns, respectively.
Something else that I just remembered. The Browns have not been shooting themselves in the foot with penalties over the last 3 games. For the season they have had 8, 8, 6, and 5 penalties. They look so much more disciplined on both sides of the ball and that credit goes to the new coach. Last year was 10-12 penalties a game and utter chaos.
