Nah. Rescheduling the Vikings wouldn't do anything to punish the Steelers.

    Come on Man !

They were just exposed to COVID-19 so they should take the week off for safety

  3. If the titans had this before that game the Vikings wouldn’t necessarily show signs until Sunday. Let’s be real here

    The Truth has emerged..........

A bus driver who drove the Tennessee Titans last weekend in Minnesota also drove MLB’s Houston Astros on their trip for a playoff series this week against the Twins, per sources. After the Titans’ COVID-19 outbreak surfaced, the Astros removed the driver.

  4. I just hope the driver did NOT know he had Covid.........because if he did know or was sick with Flu......Throw him in Jail.

Did he drive them to the Vikings game? If so the Vikings should take the week off

So if the NFL wants to do the right thing they should reschedule the Vikings to give them time to get through the incubator period

    1. It's "incubation" period.
    2. The commonly used 14 day incubation period is typically how long it takes before systems present themselves.
    3. Once exposed, it can be detected in the blood stream within 12 hours. (The blood stream circulates through the body an average of once every 45 seconds.) It can be detected in other body fluids (mucus, etc.) in 24 hours.

If ONLY the league tested the players, most of this thread would be a moot point...

Here's the thing Gid, unfortunately for your founded fear of the Ravens, the Steelers may have gotten a slightly raw deal here logistically. Let's face it if we were talking about the Bengals, you wouldn't be up in arms or even have given it a second thought.

Every case will have to be reviewed on case by case basis. In this particular one, there was a fairly simple solution to the issue. It won't always be that easy, especially as the season progresses.

From what I am gathering, you simply want a "forfeit" giving the Steelers a free win. That wouldn't work for the rest of the AFC battling for a wild card...as I can assure you, the Ravens are winning the North.

BUT, there is a silver lining, now the Steelers get to rest up and get ready for the 0-2-1 Eagles. That's a match up nightmare for you guys.

God help us all if the Eagles win that game. :smack:

From what I''ve read the incubation period can run from 2-14 days but most often is 3-5 days. It will be interesting to see when they let the Titans back in the building.

I've learned to pick the actual one and not just put the Browns in my sentences.

A Steelers 12-4 team laid an egg in Philadephia in 2008. Ben was sacked 9 times. They then went on to win the Super Bowl. So we have silver lining already prepared if they do it again. :chuks:

No one could have predicted Ben going down. Don't be too hard on yourself. :p

I don’t care if the Steelers had to forfeit a game because they had a breakout of COVID-19, my only point is I want every team and game given the same treatment. I don’t want to see the Steelers game rescheduled then later they make some other teams forfeit a game because of COVID-19. I want everyone treated the same.

no one is forfeiting any games because humans on certain teams have Covid. thats absurd.
