You know, I think that people just need to lighten up a little. I don't mean just here, but in every space in the world. We all have a lot on our shoulders right now and I think that people are definitely feeling the pressure that Covid and the upcoming election has placed on their shoulders. From the very beginning my vision (and Lombardi'ncoke's vision) was for this contest and thread to be fun; in fact the value lies less with the actual contest and more with our members just getting together to enjoy themselves and those around them.

Everyone here is entitled to their opinion and I do value them. We have always had some members who only come to play the contest without interacting much with others here but as long as people are enjoying some back and forth bantering it's even more valuable. Joking is good. Having fun is even better. I've seen this thread go pages without any football talk on it because we all enjoy the laid back atmosphere right up until the games start.

Nothing is going to change here. I can promise you that. We are so lucky to have this place, this sports site, to yell and scream in, laugh and insult each other in (in a nice way) if it wasn't for Tim's generosity and my work. There are no outsiders in the contest and everyone is free to join in with the banter whenever they feel like it.

So relax, grab a Jamesons, a beer or a toke and enjoy yourselves. That's an order ...
