Bears didn't want anything to do with Leonard Fournette and I agreed with that....but if AP is healthy...why not sign him up? 35 years old but can definitely play as a part time back.
What's wrong with a 24 year old healthy power RB with a history of success? Sure, but we know they won't.
I don't know, man... The Saints just released Taquan Mizzel... 3.5 mil (max he can make, entirely incentive-laden deal with Tampa). Guess it was just too rich for Ryan Pace. Oh yeah, the bears have 15 mil in cap space per Spotrac (18 mil per OverTheCap)... https://overthecap.com/salary-cap/chicago-bears/ https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/chicago-bears/cap/ Unrelated to the RB position which seems to be looking like a shitshow with Week 1 just over a week away...it would be nice if this cap space could go someplace useful (like Allen Robinson's extension).
Psh, c'mon guys, we don't need a running back, we have Tariq Cohen to catch passes out of the backfield. Maybe we'll pull a packers and convert a WR to play RB anyway.
This should be pretty good. The Lions now have a packed RB room which means AP should struggle to get major carries this season. That switch ass crash test dummy cannot overtake Sweetness on the all-time list.
