Earl Thomas got released, so that happened over the weekend. Wow, they must have had a lot more on him than just a fight at practice. I saw a report from Peter King that stated he was frequently late, was unprepared and missed a walk through completely with no valid reason. It sounds like he was coasting on his talent rather than working hard and the fight was the capper. I saw a note that said it was the player's leadership council that agreed that they did not want him back and that, to me, is the one thing that speaks volumes.
One thing that always strikes me about the Ravens . . . Harbaugh and company always seem to do what's best for the team.
Agreed. I haven't read those Peter King reports @BaltSportsfan mentioned, but I believe them. I still remember him giving up on chasing Chubb down for a TD. I don't think he'd have caught him, but who knows what could have happened. We've all season plays where a guy showboats and gets stripped from behind. His excuse after being asked about it ticked me off. Add in 2 offseasons with 2 altercations with defensive teammates, and I'm happy to see him go, even though I was excited when he signed
