How so? I say things all the time that are politically incorrect, taboo, offensive, and just mean. You still have the freedom to say whatever you want. In certain situations there could be consequences but that's not the removal of a freedom.
Go live in a country where you can be killed, jailed, or tortured for being.... A different skin color than the majority, a different religion than is officially accepted by the government, gay, trans, crippled, outspoken of the government, critical of your leaders, or a whistleblower of any kind of government controversy. Go spend a few years in North Korea, China, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Syria, Venezuela, or Yemen. Then come back here and tell me again how the left has taken away your freedoms.
Or the right, for that matter. In spite of ourselves- the U.S.A. is still one of the better countries on the planet in which to live.
