You know for a second I expected something of actual substance....and was slightly disappointed when I didn't get it. Then I realized who I was talking to and now I'm just mad at myself.

I seen a lot of people that voted against Trump supporting him now. I live in Washington and there were no Trump supporters here in 2016, Now you can’t drive anymore without seeing Trump signs constantly

And the opposite can be said as well.

Also there are tons of people that couldn't vote last time that will this time and younger voters in metropolitan areas especially are overwhelmingly liberal.

Washington state? Trump won 38% of the vote there in 2016....saying there were no Trump supporters is just blatantly false. 4 of Washington's electoral votes in 2016 defected from Clinton.

I’m saying they didn’t put out signs

Over 1/3 of the state voted for him....who gives a fuck about signs?

There all over the place now

So do votes still count in Washington or are elections decided by signs? Because I'm confused.

No but it shows that he’s getting more support up here than last election

  11. BearsWillWin Drunk (Probably) Patreon Champion Manager Bears Blackhawks Cubs

No, it doesn't. Because one random idiot on the internet saying he sees more signs isn't evidence and as already stated...he had 38% of the state last time which is a far cry from no support.

Last real clear politics poll on 5/21 had Biden 57 to Trump 31.

I have him as a pretty good longshot to win the election. But he will carry the deep blue states...like Washington and California.

Jeezus... Gidion and BWW each get an equally valued vote in this country. Says a lot about the aspiring ideals and ultimate pitfalls of democracy. Worse yet, because of THIS completely f***ed representative democracy, one's vote might matter more than the other's based on their district, among other things.

I was going to propose to my girlfriend on a trip to Ireland before this all started. Now we're looking into potentially moving there permanently. This country has gone to complete hell.

I don’t vote and I live in a state that even a blind squirrel democrat should win. BWW lives in a state Trump should win, so if we both voted it probably wouldn’t mean squat.

I live in a state Trump should win but I don’t vote here.

Also...I’m not a democrat. I’m very much an independent and didn’t vote for Hillary in 2016.

Probably should have prefaced with how open to interpretation this is, but too late.

Metrics are open to the individual's interpretation, but the obvious: economy (start, middle, end), foreign and domestic policy/actions, poverty, general stances on things.

Reagan is no saint and fucked up a lot, but he did have some positives. He's towards the bottom for me. Also keep in mind in the 1980s, the US population was estimated 226 million in 1980 and 1989 246 million. During Grant's time from 1868 - 1876, 38 million going to 40s (only info google can find is by census per decade starting with and in 1860 population is 38 and change, 1870 42 and change million). Unemployment rose drastically during Grant's first term then took a nose dive to 14% by 1873. Right after the Civil War, much like WW2, the economy/country's infrastructure boomed. People had jobs as the railroads were being built cross country. 3 years of solid growth followed by the first year of Grant's term when it started to go backwards before one of his many blunders as I posted earlier.

Again open to interpretation, but I cant count William Henry Harrison because he was in office for 31 days, and was still laying out his plans when he died of pneumonia, which is estimated he caught it during his 8 days straight of an address to the public.

Pierce's Nebraska/Kansas slavery bill was an enormous fuck up and caused chaos.

Dub yah, Fillmore, Hoover, and Nixon (in no methodical order) fill out my 2-5 after Grant.

Congratulations dline, this is some really happy news in the midst of a lot of bad. I wish you both all the happiness in the world and if you do move to Ireland I hope it is everything you hope for. Great news dline!

When you factor in the increase in "nation building" that happened under Reagan and the insane dollar amount spent by our government playing police all over the globe and building new army air bases every 10 feet world wide....plus Iran Contra and so on....hard to not have Reagan on the shit list. Grant definitely sucked...but I don't think he blatantly fucked so many Americans deliberately. I believe Reagan did.

I guess I did leave out W. So remove dumbass WHH and insert Bush. Nixon, for me, is outside the bottom five only because of how well he handled foreign relations during a time the entire globe was on fire.
