Damn. I'm getting old. Your only as Old as you think you are........I'm a teenager........lol RIP Ken Osmond.......Eddie was a good character on the Beaver. I still say June Cleaver had the Best Line Ever on Leave it to Beaver. "Ward, your been really hard on the Beaver Tonight"........lol
That’s one of those Mandela Effect things...the actual line was “don’t you think you’re being a little bit hard on the Beaver?” Which is still kinda dirty but not quite as dirty as the way we all think we remember it. RIP to Ken Osmond. He was so good at being that character he had a hard time getting other roles and became an LA cop. Pretty cool.
Former wwe star Shad Gaspard dead at 39. He was swimming with his son (10) when they got caught in a rip tide. Lifguards responded and Shad had them focus on his son. The lifeguard succesfully rescued his son and when he returned for Shad he witnessed a wave knock shad under and he did not resurface. His body was later recovered on venice beach.
I don't mean to sound like a jerk. BUT You've got to understand these rip tides. The geological formation of the sand along the coast under the water, causes these things. Sand normally has a steady upslope to the shore. But sometimes it will form a small trough. When the tide is coming in, the water tends to go back out in those troughs. I've been a few. The harder you try to swim back to shore, you look up and your not getting any closer or getting pushed further out to sea. What to do ?? Look at the shore. Then pick a direction, right or left, and swim that way for about 50 yards or so. Then swim to shore. Your own power and the tide will push you in. Just gotta keep your head about you !!!!!!! I know he had his kid with him. But, if he knew what I know,, they'd both be alive today.

I'm here in the Columbus Ohio burbs and we're opening slowly and in stages. Everyone seems to have gotten tired/bored with the quarantine and are now out en masse (and large protest crowds downtown). Worst part is that most, and I mean less than half , are wearing masks and maintaining their 6ft distance anymore. A couple of days before Memorial Day, I stopped in Walmart for those little saucers that go under the plant pots for my wife and the place was packed like Black Friday and 9/10 had no masks on. I don't want to wear mine, but I do. Every little bit helps, right?
