Standing Buffalo! It’s definitely better. Bison do not have wings and it’s just a poorly executed effort to evoke motion, at least that’s what I think.

Still, the Bills are top 5 after:
Saints
Colts
Cowboys (that’s just too iconic to dis)
Buffalo
Texans

Honorable mention to the Steelers. Second HM for the Lions

As for the bottom five:
The football team from Miami; it’s just too “happy” to be on a football uniform.
I cannot believe that Rams thing is a real logo for the Rams
There’s a lot more other logos that suck, but I’m more apathetic than disdainful, so I’ll leave it at this.

 

TOP 5:
1. Vikings (I like the amount of detail. Just enough. Not too realistic or cartoony. A true exception to what I say about another human logo later)
2. Eagles (Call me a homer but no other logo faces left by default and I really like that. All so an E can be hidden in the logo. It's so hidden you can't really notice it even when you know it's there, which is good. I also think the amount of detail and the shading are just right unlike other bird logos.)
3. Broncos. (Similar to the Eagles it's clean and has just enough detail without going overboard. If I wasn't a homer I could swap them.)
4. Titans (Nice pop of colour and a simple enough design with flair that is clean.)
5. 49ers (Of all the super simple logos this is my favourite as the border width changing at different points adds a nice aesthetic.

Just missed: Bills. Standing buffalo would trump the 49ers. Saints, Raiders, Patriots and Seahawks are top 10 in no particular order. Bucs miss out of top 10. Their old flag logo from 2013 would have gotten them in.

Bottom 5:
1. Rams (It's just the worst. Like Damn)
2. Redskins (Not as much for being racist than being weird for being a person in general. That logo could really go places if they tweaked it)
3. Chiefs (look at it closely, alone or on the uniform, and it looks like a kindergartner drew it, cut it and stuck it on)
4. Bears (Not a fan of the baseball letter logo)
5. Bengals (The actual Bengal would be fine. I'm tired of the B.)

Just missed: Jets (It would be #2 but it actually looks good on the uniform)

 

I noticed all the logos, where applicable, are facing to the right except for the Eagles... I wonder why that is?

 

I also think the logos with out being on a helmet are in general pretty lame looking, lol.

But working with what we have my 'top 5' (in no particular order) would be the Vikings, Lions, Falcons and Raiders and don't hate me, Dan, but the Fish make my 'top 5'.

'Bottom 5' is (drum roll, please) the Bears, Bengals, Browns, Rams and Titans, especially the Titans. A flaming letter 'T', wtf?

The Chiefs and Ravens are the 2 teams with different reverse logos, as in not simple mirror images. Those are for images on the left side of their helmets. The Chiefs simply have the K closer to the pointed end of the arrow than the C. The Ravens have the B flipped so you read it normally but the aesthetic changes a lot. (also a different part of the B is cut off, always near the "cheek")

Based on the voting here, it’s safe to say the Rams done messed up

 

Rams new logo sucks but hey we cant all be winners right?

A few other quick random thoughts

Brady with the Bucs will fail. Not because he cant pass deep and Bruce asks his guys to pass deep a lot but because QBS in Bruce's offense tend to get hit a lot. How do you rattle Brady? Hit him so guess what is going to happen this season? Also with the hits he will take I dont think he last the whole season.


At this point Cam Newtons best bet is to sit and wait. Someone will loose a QB in pre season or early in the season then he will be more in demand.

Talk of the Redskins taking Tau is hopefully just talk or at least IMHO it should be. Chase Young is the only choice for the Redskins. If it turns out Haskins is not your guy you start tanking and grab Trevor Lawrence next season to be your franchise QB. Giving you a dominate defensive player and a top notch QB

I think there is a possibility we do not get a full season of football depending how much longer facilities are closed from players. If nothing else look for rookies to have less of an impact due to not be able to get fully into the system as early as normal.

 

Im trying to think of a better 1 2 punch than Lindsay and Gordon.

Tryin to think on my part is dangerous.

 

For anyone that dares to doubt that the Cleveland Browns always get the shaft from NFL officiating, this is a must watch:

 

The offsides one was correct, defense can jump offsides as long as they don’t touch an offensive player or cause a offensive player to jump. The Steelers one, I’ll give you cause I thought the same watching the game. Only thing I can say is the camera angle is slightly from behind but I still have doubts. The patriots one, of course they’re calling that PI, it’s against the Patriots! Almost every team has gotten a bs call against them, remember the Brandon cooks supposed catch against the Texans a few years back? Same year as the Jesse James one. Pryor’s was iffy, I can see that one being deemed taunting, but the closer ref should have overruled. Bottom line is every single team can find as bad of calls against them. None of those were worse than the Rams vs Saints NFCCG PI.

What about #6 though? Are you kidding me? At least the NFL got their female ref out there, I guess....It's mind numbing.

 

Yeah, I got nothing for that one other than they must've seen the Redskins player with the ball before Johnson took it away. Don't think I even believe that...maybe they forgot which way the Browns were going, idk. I'll revise that statement about none being as bad as the NFCCG, cause that #6 was pretty bad.

 

It's the residual of bad football.

 

Yes it’s a video game, and no it really doesn’t matter but damn some of these Madden ratings are downright horrible. I’m sure most teams have similar issues, but damn some of the Steelers players seem way off. TJ Watt 86? Ok not outlandish, but still a DPOY candidate should be over 90. Minkah 87? A top 3 safety on everyone’s list, except for the “expert” Prisco’s? Steve Nelson only 81? Bud Dupree is 80? And the ultimate wtf IMO is Ben at 81.

I will also say Gronk’s 95 rating is a bit generous at this point too.

 

I haven’t seen the new ratings yet, but there’s always a few every year that will make you shake your head. The good news is they adjust them fairly quickly once the season starts, and I feel like in the latest few versions of the game they have sort of a built-in escalator for the star players Who seem low, like say TJ Watt.

But I kind of appreciate on some level that they aren’t eager to make like 6 to 8 players on every team 90+

 

I mean, for another example, I kind of doubt Andrew Luck was ever rated higher than 88 the whole time he played.
