And sure... there’s a lot of time between now and when games are played, let alone now and 2-3 years down the road when the story is written on these picks.

Put me in the group that wanted Harrison > Phillips and Hill > Peoples-Jones... but this FO thought otherwise.

Also refreshing we aren’t drafting fourth and fifth round players expecting them to take meaningful snaps this season. Having a center to develop behind Tretter and possible swing to guard? A tight end who’s going to work into the lineup at his own pace? Nice position to finally be in from a roster and overall talent standpoint.

    Just my two cents.

    No question

Andrew Berry *clearly* adopted the Eagles aversion to linebackers. That teams hates the LB position like it killed a family member.

I like Phillips and Mack Wilson. I have concerns still about Goodson and Takitaki. We’ll have to see how Joe Woods wants to run the show and what the LBs will be responsible for.

Conklin + Wills = no excuses for Baker. This will be his defining season and I expect him to play great. Mayfield will fit Stephanski's offense like a glove. i'm expecting the Browns offense to be one of the best in football.

Bold Prediction: Browns will end the NFL's longest playoff drought this year.

Oh......I hope so. If that isn't sad enough, how about the fact that the defunct Houston Oilers have won a Division title more recently than the Browns (Oilers - 1993 vs. Browns - 1989).

    (Sigh)

Doesn't hurt to be well stocked for the draft that Cleveland will be hosting....Should be a lot of fun.

The Draft host city has never won a Super Bowl the same year as hosting (now, it was in New York forever, so take that for what it's worth).

Glad to hear that's changing this year.

Also, I peeped one of those Way Too Early Mock Drafts the other day, which I agree is obscenely too soon. They're silly because half the guys projected go on to be duds and late round picks, while some guys show up out of nowhere and get the top spot.

Anywho... had the Browns picking Jaylen Twyman with the 32nd overall pick.

What are they trading to the Steelers to obtain the 32nd overall pick?

Sas, they don’t count the Giants as a home team or did I miss something. Maybe they count them as NJ’s team. Not quite sure because they still have NY on their helmets.

Pitt was picking #3 overall - Justin Fields, FYI - no way they were trading out of that.

Bengals at #2, tho... so there’s that to look forward to!

Joe Thomas on Jedrick Wills. A must see for Browns fans! Fantastic interview.

Great breakdown between 2 of the top OT prospects, and why we likely got the best in the draft.

I've had some time to settle down from my outburst over the weekend (my apologies about that) and decided to take a more objective look at the draft. Not only for the Browns but for the entire AFC North.

I know some of you (the draftniks) always look at "value" so I took two on-line draft prospect rankings (columns [1] & [2]) and averaged the overall rankings. The actual draft slot was then compared to this average to determine value (higher is better).

Scoring method for grades is shown on the respective tab.

Kind of crazy Lyman. The player most Steelers fans are the highest on (not me personally) is the worst rated on your chart.

I don't see PFF.com's ranking on here. I'm obligated to ignore it.
