**** Round 1 of the NFL Draft is scheduled to be simulcast tonight at 8pm et till 11:30 on ESPN and NFL Network****
Dolphins want to get No. 3 and No. 5 in effort to get to No. 1 The Dolphins aren’t trying to get the third overall pick from the Lions without giving up the fifth overall pick in order to make two picks in the top five. Instead, the Dolphins believe that a potential Godfather offer to the Bengals for the first overall pick would be even harder to refuse if the Dolphins offer both No. 3 and No. 5 as part of the package. Per a league source, that’s the primary purpose of the Miami effort to finagle No. 3 from Detroit. If the Dolphins pull it off, the Bengals would then have to ask themselves whether they’d rather have quarterback Joe Burrow or, for example, the best tackle on the board at No. 3 and either quarterback Justin Herbert or quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, plus whatever else Miami would be offering. Of course, it won’t matter if the Dolphins can’t squeeze No. 3 from the Lions without giving up No. 5. But if the Dolphins somehow end up with a pair to top-five picks, don’t be surprised if the next move entails an effort to get to the top of the mountain, via a huge pile of draft picks. NBC
Took one prior to getting into some schooling back in the late 90s. 50 timed questions that I hit 43 on. I think I would have hit on more of those 7 I missed if we hadn't been burning a Philly before walking in to check the place out. Had no idea there would be a quiz on the tour, lol. Then again, maybe that's the reason I got 43 right?
The scoring is different? I took one and the person giving it said my score was really good it was a 31 out of 35 something like that.
Probably just depends on whose administering it and whether or not it's an actual Wonderlic or an equivalent.
Throw out your best (favourite) mock.... This one is tough to beat; RAIDERS (G.M.O.) 1.12 Jerry Jeudy, WR - Bama 1.19 Javon Kinlaw, DE - South Carolina 3.16 Kyle Dugger, SS - Lenoire-Rhyne 3.17 Marlon Davidson, DT - Auburn 3.27 John Simpson, G - Clemson 3.35 Anfernee Jennings, LB - Bama 4.15 Harrison Bryant, TE - FIU 5.13 Davion Taylor, LB - Colorado 5.27 Khalid Kareem, Edge - Notre Dame
The Southeastern Conference did it again. Only bigger. And better. The SEC set a record for first-round draft selections with 15. It broke the conference’s old record of 12 set in 2013 and matched in 2017. “I think we’re all aware of that and aware that’s not going to stop anytime soon in terms of how strong the conference is,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said before the draft, via Mark Long of the Associated Press. LSU started the draft and ended the draft Thursday night. The Bengals selected LSU quarterback Joe Burrow with the No. 1 overall choice, and the Chiefs took LSU running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire with the No. 32 pick. LSU had the most first-rounders with five, while Alabama had four players selected. Auburn and Georgia each had two first-rounders, and Florida and South Carolina produced one each. The SEC could break its record of total prospects drafted (64) set in 2019. NBC
Saints may trade a 2021 pick for a high pick tonight The Saints don’t have a second-round draft pick, which means they’re not scheduled to pick tonight until the third round, No. 88 overall. They’d like to do something about that. New Orleans has been calling teams with high second-round picks to ask about trading, according to Albert Breer of SI.com. It would be just about impossible for the Saints to put together a package of picks from this year’s draft that would allow them to pick within the first few selections in tonight’s second round, so that would likely mean they would be trading a 2021 pick. Would the Saints give up their 2021 first-round pick for a 2020 second-round pick? If so, they might be able to get the 33rd overall pick from the Bengals, and make the first pick of Day Two. NBC
They have done it before. As long as Brees is playing, they are truly in win now mode. And I can respect that they’re all in on that belief
Just speculation on my part, but they need WR's and OL and this class and the second round has some really good talent in those two areas left. That's my best guess.
Here’s a fun story @dlinebass5 Buccs punished(?) for Brady’s ignorance https://www.rotoballer.com/player-n...hment-for-social-distancing-violations/733957
