To me, the need is clear. Not that I advocate drafting for need . . . But you can't ignore it either. IMHO - we should be looking for OLB help.
Here are five guys to look at (in no particular order): Kenneth Murray - Oklahoma Afernee Jennings - Alabama Zach Baun - Wisconsin Josh Uche - Michigan Akeem Davis-Gaither - Appalachian State Malik Harrison - Ohio State
They traded back in late in the round, and grabbed Murray. Really good trade up and selection on their part.
What if Xavier McKinney fell right into the Browns' lap? That's a guy I didn't expect would be available today.
While I agree that the biggest remaining hole/NEED on the Roster is at OLB. I would probably pull the trigger and not look back.
Reading this page you guys and I are on........the same page???? Hoping Pats finally get a TE (Kmet) or pick McKinney. Theyre at #37.
NOW would be the time for that bold move everyone was talking about pre-draft. I would trade up for McKinney... Unless of course they don't have him evaluated as highly as everyone else in the media.
Agree that it's unlikely. I would think if we want him, we better at least get in front of Miami, who is two spots in front of us.
Assuming the Bengals don't take him...and assuming they won't trade with the Bengals.. It would take the 4th and 6th to move up to Indy's spot at #34 from #41. I would do that in a heartbeat.
The Giants also have a need for a player like McKinney. They're five spots ahead of us. And I wouldn't be surprised if the Bengals pick him either.
You guys assume that if the dolphins pick him he won’t be available next year for a slightly worse pick than where they selected him.
