I mean that's probably true, but when you're trading away your best player who can still play at an elite level, are you really that concerned about winning to worry about conference games?
Fair point. Well, as of now all WRs are still on the board. Raiders up at pick 12. If they fall a little more, and Baltimore really wants a WR, maybe they trade up for Lamb if he dips into the late teens or early 20s
You're down to one of the top 3 wr now, it it's not a bad thing if he's your guy. If they don't trade up for him, I'd bet the pick is on defense.
Could you imagine the Ravens trading the pick the got from Atlanta to trade with them? It's not happening, but I would have loved it for the irony.
So here we are. We are in the realistic range the Ravens would trade up. Do you do it for an ILB? Do you sit and wait? Do you take the guard at 28? Do you dip into the second tier wr market ( Jefferson is off the board now)? Do you go the DE route? Do you potentially take the best RB in the draft?
Gotta be Queen or Espensa for Baltimore. I can't see any WR at this point or interior o-ineman. They could trade back too
It really is amazing sometimes how guys just tend to fall all the way down to the Ravens. I think there's a lot of good things here in a passing league, but certainly some questions too regarding production and size. In the second round, there's no way we don't draft a WR. I wouldn't be shocked if they had to trade up for one, but I guess we shall see tomorrow.
We have 4 picks tomorrow. Gotta expect WR, EDGE, and Interior OL with 3 of them. Maybe even a trade up
Queen is about the same size that Ray Ray was when he came into the league..... is it possible that they caught lightning in a bottle TWICE? Time will tell. Definite need pick though.
I would be so stoked if Darrell Taylor dropped to us tonight. Watch his tape at Tennessee, the dude was a beast with a high motor, especially in the high-profile conference games. He's been fast-rising to the 1-2 line in mock drafts. We will get a quality WR tonight too. Maybe an RB. If we snagged a Cam Akers or someone of his calibre, we will be sitting pretty.
I had a feeling even with the first pick that a RB would be possible early because teams were leaving so much talent on the board. Now the question is, who did they gamble leaving for 5 more picks?
Well considering the noticeable drop off once Ingram got hurt last season. You saw defenses not respect Gus nor Hill and concentrated more on Lamar which caused our offense to struggle a bit at the end. I am happy that they snagged JK, the kid is just nasty and will force his way into playing time. As for your question, there is soo much talent in this draft especially in the WR dept, but I suspect that Eric is going to go nab another LB with pick 60 or maybe DT.
I wonder if the Ravens wanted Mims? Seems like they had no issue trading back after the Jets took him.
