Traits, traits, traits. It's the only thing you can accurately (as accurately as you can be) review, assess and score on players. The x factors will always cause headaches. All you can do is hedge your bets by deciding which traits are most important (in your opinion) for a player to find success in the league and put them in an order of importance. Then it's all liquor and "ah shit I fucked that up" for 4 months until you see them play. Then you gotta be patient for at least a couple of seasons until you can accurately (as accurately as you can be) reassess whether or not you were right or wrong. Then it's all liquor and excuses and "if only he had gone to a different fucking team", and more liquor and bitching on the internet... I love this shit.
They traded Tunsil for a first round pick, and just used one on the 5th (?) Tackle off the board. Just nonsense management. I can't understand it. But I guess it did help them tank for Tua, so... I guess that's it. Tanking. I tuned into this draft to see people make fools of themselves. Goodell is absolutely not disappointing. What a jackass.
I'm actually with what Flores and Grier are doing in Miami. I think both were rock solid hires to get things turned around at the beach.
I am actually not all that surprised by that. He’s not a finished product but you can definitely see some athletic ability with him. Boy Mayock and Gruden are not afraid to go against the grain though
So many good guys here. I just hope the Eagles don't blow it at their pick. I know he was a minor failure but when Chip Kelly traded down 3 spots and missed 3 solid guys to only take Marcus Smith I died inside.
I think both were great hires. For the first time in a long time, it feels like Miami has their heads in straight. I just don't understand the logic of trading young stars like Tunsil and Fitzpatrick for a pick that's less valuable than the one used to pick them (and won't be valuable enough to pick an equivalent replacement). If the effort was to tank, then I can't argue with that. They did tank successfully. But otherwise, it's not something I get.
