The Cowboys Select CeeDee Lamb, WR - Oklahoma I am not surprised. But if they took him just so another team doesn't then that is foolish and I doubt they did.
Just considering what he did after the catch, I am still shocked personally that he wasn’t the first receiver off the board
Dak Prescott is going to see his contract value increase thanks to Jerry getting him an absolute stud in the first round. If he was looking to get a deal done on the cheap for Dak, this ain't the way to do it, lol.
Giving Dak a weapon. In four years, Lamb will have had as his QBs: Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, Jalen Hurts and now Dak Prescott.
I still remember scouting his college tape, and I said something to Joe or Tim about how bad I feel for some of these college wide receivers. The guys that constantly have to risk their lives to make a catch because nothing is on target, and they’re hard to scout because their routes don’t look clean, which they can’t possibly because they’re adjusting to poor throws all the time
He was #1 on my board but I still figured Ruggs would go ahead of him because of the pure speed factor. Jeudy going ahead of him is interesting though. The Broncos must expect Lock to become a little more controlled with his passes in the immediate future because a solid route running receiver compared to a guy that can flat out go and get it (or a guy like Ruggs that can run under it) seems a bit backwards.
Definitely not buying that bit of stupidity from BSPN. Taking a WR is going to stop the Eagles from getting a WR? In THIS draft???
