How long has this been going on?

 

The Australian league (aka footy) played the first week of the season with no one in the stands. It was surreal to see the MCG completely empty like that.

Then after the first week they canceled the season.

My all-time favorite bull dawg was Hershel Walker. I played against him in high school as a sophomore when he was a senior. That’s what got me into Georgia football. He was a man among boys when he was in high school.

 

This is what happens when you mess with the Buckeye:

Walker is the only player in Georgia history that guaranteed them a shot at the National championship every season he played there. Too bad he went to the USFL. He suffered a serious shoulder injury there and was never the same player after that.

Tarkenton was my first favorite player. I was just a little kid, but he was unforgettable. Plus it was those awesome Vikings uni's.

 

OJ Simpson was my favorite player as a kid. He was such a lovable character back then. Too bad he got into cocaine

 

Brian Sipe's Browns (Kardiac Kids) were coming on strong right when Tarkenton retired...Been a Browns fan ever since.

 

OJ was incredible. He was one of the biggest stars of the 70's (if not THE biggest), and he played for a team that did nothing, which says a lot....
