Just to pass some time while we finish this up. Who’s your most overrated and underrated player in this years draft.
There she was just a walking down the street Singing do wa didi didi dum didi do Looking good from her head to her feet Singing do wa didi didi dum didi do That’s how you pass time Singing do wa didi didi dum didi do
This one’s dedicated to Torgo who likes elevator music Love in an elevator Living it up When you’re going down
Monday Monday La la la la la la Every other day Every other day is fine But why would someone who was in a musical band care about the day of the week? Especially back in the late sixties early seventies? Their main goal all day was to roll another one. Just like the other one You been hanging on to it and I sure would like a hit of fresh air. . Business men, they come and drink my wine. Come and take my erb. What in the world ever became of sweet jane? She lost her sparkle she isn’t the same, living on reds vitamin C and cocaine She don’t light, she don’t light cocaine. Happiness is a warm gun, bang bang shoot shoot I hooe I didn’t just blow your brain up
You can look at it a certain way sometimes a first round pick can be underrated too. Ala Jerry Rice when he made to the 49ers Dan Marino to the Dolphins TJ Watt to the Steelers All those guys not picked in the number one spot was way underrated
You obviously don't have a fucking clue as to the expectations teams have of drafting a player in the 1st round or the 7th round.
I wanted TJ Watt as the Steelers first pick well before that draft was a couple of weeks away. I studied him because we weren’t picking high that season after making the playoffs. When every team in front of us skipped him I was banging my table for him and we got him. Some other picks I banged the table for the Steelers to pick well before the draft were Rsshard Mendenhall Frank Summer’s Mauciese Pouncey Jarvis Jones embarrassing Ben Roethlisberger some times I think my brain must have visited the Steelers war room or worse their war room visited my brain But my birthday is April 26th so I usually get some kind of a gift during the draft. 2018 my gift was the Browns picking another shitty QB after passing on Myhomey the season before. Making matters worse for the Browns is that they also passed on the best defensive player in that draft too TJ Watt but they did get a great RB the draft they took a shitty QB I can’t wait for Chubb to hit free agency and leave the skid marks behind.
I personally don’t feel like Chase Young is overrated. He’s a legit bad man that will flourish even more than what you saw at Ohio St. When I think of underrated in this draft. Evan Weaver comes to mind. He’s fundamentally at the top of this LB class but lacks the athleticism to be an immediate 3-down LB. if he can get an opportunity, I feel like you will see a guy that’s comparable to Nick Kwiatkoski.
Titans time ran out, but as we’re in the back half of the 7th round I think I’ll give up on the autopick. I’m going make a coffee and then get times posted for the UDFA slots
It’s obvious that teams aren’t looking for HOFers and All-Pro players in the first rd when a bloody chunk of them pass on them. I almost crapped my pants when TJ was available for the Steelers. Browns fans almost crapped their pants when TJ came out in game one and gave us a preview of what was to come.
I don’t think teams are looking to draft backups in the first. Every team’s mentality should be to draft the best player the organization has ever had in the first.
It should be, but you have organizations that pass on great players like it’s a skill year after year
