He's obviously the other name I referred to earlier in regards to Fromm. He's on Gidion's train in that he started out at Georgia. He got hurt and Fromm took over the starting role, prompting Eason's transfer to UW.

Tough call between Eason and Fromm. Came down to potential system fit, which is admittedly dicey when your coach is on the hot seat.

Fromm is probably a better fit for McDaniels’ offense than Eason honestly. If they’d both lasted til that pick I’d’ve taken Fromm. Eason may be too much of aRyan Mallett type to really work but damn he’s got a great arm. Can’t pass that up in the middle of the 4th.
